Living in Arizona is quite a unique experience because of the vastness that the state offers. From the Sonoran Desert in the south to the high country in the north all the way up towards the Four Corners east and the Grand Canyon in the west. Known as the Grand Canyon state, Arizona is diverse in many ways. The state tree is the Palo Verde, the state cactus is the Saguaro, the state bird is the Cactus wren. If you are thinking about moving to Arizona feel free to subscribe and check us out on our other channels.

@@brandonbouchez7195 when did you live in the valley? Also there is some places in it that can hit 130, but they place the weather stations at airports and they aren't anywhere in those. They also rarely hit that. And what are you talking about "barely gets above 110"? It gets the 115 almost every day. Maybe it didn't in the 60s and 70s, but it has all in the 2010s.

You hit the nail on the head when you were talking about the road construction. You can't drive 2 miles without having to deal with unnecessary road construction. Sometimes I know there's construction coming up and I'll go to another road to avoid it and that road has construction. You can't get around it no matter where you live. Along with the traffic being so bad. I mean Phoenix & Tucson aren't even that big of cities and sometimes it almost feels like it takes all day to get through them cause of the traffic. The worst part of AZ is the traffic & road construction. Other than that, it's got great weather in the winter and the mountains are beautiful. You just have to weigh the pros and cons to make a decision on where you want to live.

As a water well driller in arizona for over 20 years i can tell you that the water conservation thing is a conspiracy in arizona. They only feed you that crap because they dont want to drill more wells to supply the population and instead want to pocket the "proffits" every year.....even though they are supposed to be a non profit government angency now 😂😂😂 APS was the most profitable company in arizona for years until they became a government agency and now they make so much every year that they replace thier entire fleet of vehicles every 2 years and increased their pay rates just to burn all the extra money and yet still raise our rates every year.....sometimes twice in a year! But im off track here, basically if you need more water in arizona just drill another well or go deeper with the one you have.

@@johnpike9612 that’s nice to know I thought with the mass movement here it would be an issue, due to getting water from the Colorado river and aqueducts.I’m a trucker and the amount of migration I see is mind boggling. @@brianaustin6184 in some states there is a real water issue but with arizonas mostly sand and clay substrates water here is as simple as drilling a well. Some areas of the state need a 500' well for domestic use and others only need a 50' well but ive yet to find an area that wouldnt produce enough water for domestic use. Now commercial or agricultural use is a different story, ive seen a 2k ft well that wouldnt produce more than 200 gals a min and thats just not enough for what they need and want in that instance.

I love the monsoon season. I used frost cloth and Christmas tree lights on my gardens to keep them warm I learned how to get around Phoenix and vicinity without using the freeway system. You forgot the light rail that goes down to Mesa. I am moving back after living in Colorado. Don't like the winters here. There are ways to get cooler weather in AZ where there are no ways to get warmer weather in Colorado in the winter months. Take your pick. I pick the southeast valley after living there for 30 years. 😎🌵🌻🌞

I moved here from IL 3.5 years ago. I'm in Norther AZ, thank God. Here's what I noticed. Pro, open carry state, it leads to less crime and my wife feels safer in public. Pro, you can snow ski in Flagstaff. Pro, property taxes are lower. Pro, awesome wild life. Con, too many blue voters not realizing why they moved here and trying to change things. Yep that's it.

You need functioning air condition for your home and car during the summer months(June to Sept). Only some areas near the canals in Phoenix where you can see trees and grass. But versus CA without the traffic, you can drive an hour north or east of Phoenix and be in a different cooler landscape.

Don't move there expecting to find affordable housing around phoenix. I'm Disabled, a Veteran, and have been homeless for two years. I'm not a drug addict, just lost my housing two years ago when the apartment complex I was living at in Mesa Arizona was sold to a buyer in Toronto, who promptly notified the tenants living with Section 8 or VASH assistance they had the option to move out or pay full market value rent without assistance. I found while looking for a place to move to, that most low income housing in my area was eliminated in this same fashion by greedy investors and was unavailable to find another place to live. I bought an old van on payments and was forced to start living in it. I did so for a year and was offered a tiny fiberglass trailer on payments. I found that the person I bought it from had mislead me on a clear title, and have had difficulty getting it registered and legal to tow. I have been stranded at a Recreation Area, above Kingman Arizona for seven months now trying to get repairs done to my van. It is no longer safe to drive, and definitely not suitable to tow my trailer. It has been a living hell, upto 128 degrees at times this summer, now dealing with freezing cold at night and heavy winds. Every time I try to get some repairs made, something comes up. I bought a used generator which failed in a couple weeks, had to buy another one, then my emotional support dog Archie was badly bitten and required veterinary care, my air conditioning compressor failed in my Van, I cut my knuckle to the bone and ligaments on some glass discarding some trash which resulted in an Emergency Room Visit. I have been trying to get help, and have not had much success. I was accepted for PATH Rapid Rehousing through the Catholic Charities, but have searched all over Mohave County but found I cannot afford an apartment on my disability income. I have been looking for a room for rent, but no luck. So now I'm in a panic as I was notified by the Catholic Charities Caseworker handling my information, had their computer stolen and now my personal information has been compromised. I am on a waiting list for Section 8, basically started over. I did not choose to be in this homeless situation, and have been doing my best to deal with everything I have experienced the past 2 years. I had to literally give everything I owned away when I lost my apartment EVERYTHING!, I did try and keep my many tools, but those to were lost to a "friend" who was going but keep them until I get settled, but would never respond to my calls or texts. I am absolutely sick of my life. I don't live anymore, I merely exist, and it's not much of an existence at that. I have not showered in nearly 8 months, and haven't bathed in over two years since losing my apartment. My teeth are broken, many missing, and I broke another one recently, not looking forward to the toothache that's coming. I am nearly blind in one eye and can only see clearly with glasses, but I lost one of the lenses. I have reached out to every VA organization or service center I know of for help, but am ineligible. I worked for the Air Force starting my senior year of high school, as a civilian employee and for the next decade. I also simultaneously served 6 years in the Air National Guard, and was honorably discharged, but still don't meet the requirements as I was on active duty for well over a year with Avionics Technical School, and was activated during Desert Storm, but could not deploy with my unit, as I was a 3 level technician straight out of school. I have no family for support, no friends, only a few people I have met while being homeless. I have had a fellow vet brings some water bottles and food items several months back, and just today was given a propane tank, heavy sleeping bag, and nice winter coat by Catholic charities, these were definitely a blessing and will definitely help, but I don't see how I can ever get out of my situation as my limited income doesn't suffice to handle the many needs I currently have trying to get out of my homeless situation along with handling my major dental problems, lack now of a safe vehicle, and trailer registration. Any day the area I am staying may be closed, the BLM Rangers have told me they plan to close access to this Recreation Area soon. I will be in an Emergency Situation when they do, and have no idea yet what I will do .

I'm a new international student at ASU and Arizona is beautiful and welcoming so far, and I LOVED this video... What kinda makes me sad is the point on overpopulation though... Overpopulation IS indeed a problem, but maybe people need to spread out more instead of overcrowding at one single place, you know, instead of discouraging them from coming to the state (which I'm sure this video didn't, of course)... Just my 2 cents... It was great watching. Subbed to the channel and turned on Post notifications! 👍🏻 #Let'sGoCardinals!♥

That's everywhere. I think the homeless population here is nothing compared to a lot of the other states. When people think of AZ, they usually don't think of homeless people like they do it CA or NV. Sure there are some, but it just depends on where you live at if you see many or not.

St. Johns is pretty dry but does have 4 seasons and trees. It is just outside the pine tree mountain terrain. My understanding is that the climate is pretty moderate; it can get hot in the summer (rarely over 98) but cool down at night, and it can snow in the winter but not very much (rarely below 10 degrees). It feels geographically isolated but is within 2 hours of Flagstaff and an hour of Show Low, both much more mountainous.
