For attractions, check out reunion tower, JFK exibit, Ft. Worth stockyards, Ft. Worth zoo, Ft. Worth water gardens and definitely State fair of Texas. Yeah, if your job requires you have to take a toll road to work, expect your toll bill can be $50 - $100 per month. Dress appropiately for the summers in Dallas. I think you should say that from I20 and I35 to 75 and 635 is only 31 miles via no tolls. And via tollway from I20 and I35 is only 2 more miles, why pay toll ways. You should give the option of traceling via toll ways or interstate roads. I moved up here 40 years ago and I don't drive on toll ways. It is a waist of money.

I lived in Plano from 80 to 93 and construction was everywhere even back then, but at least there were no toll roads yet and lots of good country back road shortcuts. The heat was fine for the first 5 years but when I hit about 27 and bought my first home, the heat started wearing on me, it was best to stay indoors or go shopping in an air conditioned mall. Would I ever move back? Probably not, it's way too crowded now, I went back in 2014 and barely recognized the place! Even so, people there were always friendly, more so than anywhere else that I lived. l have good memories from working there (TI) and living down there.
