People if you want it "thinner", because it is "too thick" - just press harder and longer! Let this be your start and use a rolling pin or glass to thin it out more. This is brilliant for those of us who do not want to buy a tortilla press.. Goodness! Lol.. Happy Cooking!🎉🎁🌹🎉

🔴 What Is Islam? ⚠️ 🔴 Islam is not just another religion. 🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham. 🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God. 🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone. 🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. 🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as: 📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚 🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus. 🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.

@@1islam1 I'm Muslim but what's the point of commenting this under a video about tortillas?

Or just rotate and press again
@maladyjohnson3397 Жыл бұрын
@@1islam1it is not. Islam means to submit to God by force if necessar independent of free will and choice. Christianity allows you to freely accept Christ or not. There is no force component.

Been making tortillas daily for the past three weeks by hand. Your method is so much easier, less messy, and no expense. Will do this tomorrow 😁

I have a clear Pyrex pie plate that works perfect. Between 2 clear pieces of plastic wrap, I can see exactly how thick or uneven it is.

See how the edges are cracked after the press. They wont puff. The masa needs more moisture
@jmdelossantos91193 жыл бұрын
What do you think is the reason for the cracks maam? Is it because of the method of pressing or is it because of the flour mixture? I hope you will reply because i want to make a tortilla and i don't have a tortilla press.. thanks! :)
@DiannaAtherton3 жыл бұрын
@@jmdelossantos9119 my opinion and from experience is 2 possible things. 1. Not enough water in masa mixture. 2. Give your masa enough rest time to absorb water.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world." -John 6:47-51. Jesus of Nazareth is The Messiah, God In the Flesh of man. He died for the remission of sin, including yours, was buried and rose from the dead on the third day, and whoever believes on him for an instant has everlasting life in heaven, and will live, even if they die.
