Here, we discuss the concept behind a Competitive ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay). Competitive ELISAs are commonly used to measure the amount of a specific protein, antibody, or metabolite in a given sample. Though Competitive ELISAs may initially be hard to understand, we hope that this brief video will make some essential concepts as easy to understand as possible.
