Upon a great twist of fate, TractionTalk finds an ORIGINAL Waja MME within two weeks of shooting the Gen MME!
TractionTalk thought it would be an impossible task, seeing that all four units previously found were either dressed with aftermarket items or simply in pitiful condition.
To find an original unit in pristine condition, within a pinch at that, was truly one of the channel's highlights of 2024.

Thanks for the end credit to me bro. I was the 2nd owner from new. Condition of the car was horrible from the pics seen at the end tu hehe.. managed to restore it as best as i can. Getting those rims were not easy!! But unfortunately after everything done, I didn’t use the car much and sold it to Mahfudz. I am glad that he continues to take care of the car and adding that fine touches. The Waja still is a great car to drive even at this day. 🫡🤝🏼

All this would not have been possible if you did not start the spark. Mahfudz would not be having this car, and I would not have an opportunity to shoot it. I'm happy to have eternalized this unit in a video. Hopefully thousands more enthusiasts watch it and get to treat their eyes to this awesome model

Arwah pakcik aku ada sebiji, after meninggal accident sportbike, isteri dia drive daily until kena hentam dari belakang by fully loaded tanker during slow moving traffic jam.. After repair, she sold it because penat ulang alik seremban - kl. If only i knew it earlier, i would save the car within my family

Add on info...The Waja MME R3 only 100 units were made and Proton Gen 2 MME R3 also 100 units. Mine is Proton Gen 2 MME R3 035...

@@tractiontalk The head of DSR, Mr. Suriya. He was among those who involve with the project. I want to restore the paint job on my MME. After chit chat with him, he told me that R3 only make 100 units for both Gen 2 and Waja for MME Edition. Mine with the number 15 on the fender, Using the Lotus Exige 300(Team Proton R3 Amprex) number.

Waja adalah sebuah model yg smart cuma sayang kualiti body dan bberapa part agak kecewa. kalau lah Waja ni dibikin zaman sekarang body mantap mesti seronok digunakan

Yes, in fact my first time seeing it in metal. Based on a track record of R3 market prices, I'd speculate it to be around RM30k - 40k, maybe even early 50k. Think of it, even the rare R3 Neo still has a few units in the used market. But this?

@@tractiontalk The body car when I look sideway it resemble corvette Z06 or C7 and also the trunk back resemble like corvette. I never realize it until now. It looks like 4 door version corvette 😆😅🤣. This is what I saw hehehe.
