Honestly I just always believed generational curses were real. God has really been showing me the truth this year. Thank you for helping me see the truth. So many pastors get this wrong.

The scariest curse in my opinion is spiritual blindness. There’s so many people unable and unwilling to just say Lord is there something I’m not seeing? Open my eyes to see, my ears to hear, and my heart to understand whatever I possibly am being deceived in any area. John 12:39-40 Revelations 22: 3….. Yes I agree. Even Ezekiel 18 says, " The son will not share the guilt of the father nor the father share the guilt of the son." These are one of those false doctrines from the old lineage of false doctrines past down from the catholic church, all to keep members dependent on their pastors and keep the church growing..But scripture says, every believer today is "God's royal priest." (1 Peter) Every curse has been destroyed at the cross. Christ became "a curse for us." (Galatians 3). "The old has gone. The new has come." (2 Corinthians 5)

I would want to agree with you here: I just don’t know. I don’t believe in generational curses but I’d like answers to these: My mind goes to Noah cursing Ham and Canaan, who then went on to be the ancestors of all Africans. Then I look at all our people have been through. That looks like a generational curse to me. I think about the way Esau and Ishmael were prophesied to be treated less than (cursed) their siblings. To this day they are still that way. How would we explain this in light of the fact that Jesus sets us free? I mean, we don’t escape the Adamic curse of pain, childbirth or hard labor because we get saved. So, do these other curses become nullified?

Most people get generational curses from Exodus 34:7 Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished, he punishes the children and their children for the sin of parents to the third and fourth generation. But Jeremiah 31:29-30 tells us we are responsible for out own sins

Just because you have given your life Christ does not mean you want reap what you have sown before you became Saved reaped what you sown why you are saved. Let look at sin, is it not a generational curse past down from one generation to another because one man's disobedience I say yes. Now all mankind born into world from Adam's disobedience to now are automatically considered a sinner in God's sight and by Biblical standards. I'm honestly tired of hearing pastors preach about born again believers being under a generational curse because they choose to sin. Does not the blood of Christ break all curses being that He became a curse for us? So now that we accept the Word of Promise that JESUS sets us free, we obediently REPENT for sinning against God, and instead of cursing us, He forgives us. Faithfully. Generational curses were spoken by God in Exodus 20:5, 34:7, Numbers 14:18, and Deuteronomy 5:9. They were afflicted onto those who "HATE GOD" onto the third and fourth generation. He is a jealous God. Those who "HATE GOD" were serving other idols. Israel has repeated this mistake and provoked God to anger. But merciful God would forgive Israel if they Repented and will show steadfast love to those who "LOVE HIM" (Exodus 20:6). They were under old testament law in that time. Still without a redeemer. A generational curse is simply the next generation repeating the same sins as their fathers, leaving them in bondage to the sinful flesh. Then comes Jesus Christ who made a new covenant with God and set us free from the curse of the law. Sinning against God as a born again believer is not a generational curse. It's the believer making a conscious decision to give into the flesh instead of obeying the Word. Take accountability, repent and the Lord, who took away your sins, will forgive you. The proof generational curses are broken is written in Acts 16:31, when it says "BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND YOU WILL BE SAVED, YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD." The blood of Jesus atoned for our transgressions. We can now come before the throne of God in repentance and seek forgiveness through Jesus Christ if we fall into sin. Where we have redemption and forgiveness of sins. Jesus sacrificed His life to give us that victory over sin. So walk in it.

Revelations 18 and Zechariah 2... flee from the daughter of babylon... which is referred as such because the same things that went on in Babylon would occur in the daughter of Babylon... Revelations 18:13 speaking of slaves and the souls of men WILL DEFINITELY cause generational curses even to the saved of the saints and prophets as spoken of in the 24th verse of that chapter

I have a question. The Bible states that by man sin has entered the world, possibly implying that sin did not enter because of Eve (the woman). I believe in general curses. I've seen children die in the same way a parent died though they never even met that parent. Nature vs nurture. No matter how the child is loved they grow up to be just like that wayward parent. Now I do believe that the curse is broken under the blood of Jesus.
