In this episode, Tim and Jon talk about the ancient wisdom found in the book of Proverbs. The author of Proverbs is this incredible teacher who offers guidance for just about everything humans will encounter in their lives, but is it just a book of wisdom sayings that we can memorize and put on our walls? The guys will go on to explain that wisdom, and the Hebrew concept of “chokmah,” is much more than that.

If I had stopped when I was young to consume proverbs, I would be much further ahead. Instead, what I did was run into disaster after disaster, until I finally went down on my knee to ask God Almighty to teach me.

I watched every single video of yours when it was a short version with a lot of animations. I never the Bible before that but your videos helped me such much and encouraged me to read it. I remember not being able to sleep watching video after video until I couldn’t take it no more and had to go to sleep. I am audiovisual person, I think in pictures, your amazing visuals allowed me to memorize so many things about the Bible, and the short version always allowed me to focus on a topic for enough time to feel that I didn’t get lost that much…. I miss that! I can’t focus listening to these long form version without a single image that would cause emotions and memorization. The old saying one picture speaks a thousand words couldn’t be more true for me! I hope you figure out a way to chunk these long form content and go back to the old form. Deep diving into content for sure but still with the old form. 😔

If you don’t know the Bible you don’t know Jesus Christ. Satan doesn’t mind if you listen to the word, Like this. He just doesn’t want you to read it for yourself because he knows if you do you will be made free.

I would exhort you to re think your perspective that you cannot well take in knowledge from reading. That may be your case now, but it doesn't mean you are concretely that way. I encourage you to start adding a little reading, then a little more, etc. Maybe read 5 verses each day for a week, then 6, or 10, or whatever you can read while focusing on the topic. As you move forward, refuse any sense of shame if you need to back up a week. You're still reading God's Word after all! Blessings on your journey!

I used have this vision that I could make a game in Unity3d where a character could actually "follow" Jesus in the game. Remember that ol Dungeons and dragon game? Where ya had to click on the flashes...and select your "Path", and then walk aside and listen and learn the experience, perhaps in a meta verse world too.... Like I said it was a vision....

@vinnybaggins
@vinnybaggins 9 ай бұрын
@1101agaoj Because it's just a coincidence that the hebrew word for "foolish" and the english word for "evil" sound the same. It does not has any spiritual meaning or symbolism. Yeah, if you are אֱוִיל (/evil/, foolish in hebrew), you will end up being evil (in english), but it's just a coincidence (a very interesting one, I admit). But not everyone is interested in original languages, etymologies, and such things which, for me (and I suppose you) are fascinating.

hearing you talk about "the fear of YHWH" brings to memory of how I started thinking about Elohim. I remember sitting in the basement of this church at about 9 or 10 years old. The teacher was talking about this person Jesus, I was given this little new testament bible, i didn't know what to do with it. Thats it there was no explanation of who this person was...there was nothing. I went into young adulthood, no more mention of a Jesus, or a GOD nothing! Then one day we had went into a ponderosa steak house, me and three other guys. We were walking down the line and watching our food being prepared. Someone started to talk about flies, as we getting ready to sit down at the table I was putting my leg over the bench one of the guys said " well they have away to kill all the flies. at one time. Now let me stop this story here just for a second I don't know if this is a true statement or not, was there a way to kill all flies? I don't know. Now it what was said after that that made me think...one of the other guys said in discuss " then why don't they do it? The answer stays with me today... they don't know why God put them here. Whoa! Let me say this did this immediately put me into the total understanding of any thing? no I went a few more years before i started learning. Have you ever looked back on your life and look for the moment or moments of when things made sense? This was mine... I'm sitting down at the table and what that guy said floored me! Who is this God? where is He? how did He get all this power? and why am I fearful of Him? it was like I was afraid? Did i start going to church? no! did i start searching for this God? no! There was a few more things that led me to where I am now...thats another story. I am 69 years old this happened in my early 20's as I can look back and put my own definition of "the fear of the YHWH" the total awareness of the power, awesomeness Of ELOHIM and how HE loves us and how much He loved us He sent His Son YESHUA to show us the way, to understand the fear of the Elohim, The love of Him...HE knows our thoughts, everything about us. I don't look for this to have any comments because it is the rambling of an old man and how I become to show love and belief in YHWH. Please don't bother telling how wrong I am or anything else, it has sustained me for many years. It will be my testimony to the day I die as to how a fly led me to "the fear of YHWH". I'm not a good writer so I hope this make sense, may YHWH bless and keep you may you learn the awesomeness of HIS love... SHALOM

Idk that those riddles are riddles at all… bc they’re so simple and straightforward it may take a longer time to understand. The 3 things that are never satisfied are the first three listed, and the fourth thing (fire) is, but none of the four say enough (bc they can’t). The three things that are too amazing are the first three, but the fourth isn’t too amazing bc he is a man (who has been with a woman), yet he doesnt understand any of them. The language is meant to break in to your default mode network and expand the boxes of categorization toward unified understanding, aka wisdom.

Thank you for all you do. Your ministry has a Paul anointing. Our words have the power of life and death. When we ask the Father to remove feelings from us that are not from Him, in the name of Jesus, it works immediately. When they come back and we pray again, it works. This is all part of bringing heaven to earth. Where in scripture can we find support for this concept? Please consider a video supporting the idea that humans can now command all unclean spirits to leave, in the name of Jesus. To Peter, Jesus said get behind me, Satan. Jesus also talked about cleaning out a house and if not replacing the empty void with elements of God, unclean spirits can return with more friends. Jesus did teach us to love and pray for our enemies. Does praying for our enemies force rebel spirits to leave them? Consider taking it up a notch with Kingdom authority. It works, we just need to find more evidence of this in the Word. Your guidance would be helpful.

Fruits of the Spirit could also support this concept. When we ask God to remove feelings like anxiety and replace with a fruit of Spirit, such as peace, why does it work?

Compare these two verses: 2 Samuel 24:1 Names of God Bible David’s Sin-He Takes a Census 24 Yahweh became angry with Israel again, so he provoked David to turn against Israel. He said, “Go, count Israel and Judah.” and 1 Chronicles 21:1 Names of God Bible David Counts the People 21 Satan attempted to attack Israel by provoking David to count the Israelites. 🧐 It's important to note that different scholars and theologians have different interpretations of the relationship between Elohim (Genesis 1) and Yahweh (Genesis 2) in the Hebrew Bible, and there is no consensus on whether they are different deities or different names for the same deity. However, here are five hypothetical reasons some scholars might consider: 1. Different Names: The names Elohim and Yahweh are distinct, and they are used in different contexts throughout the Hebrew Bible. Some scholars argue that this suggests that they represent different conceptions of the divine, and that they might have originally been separate deities that were later merged. 2. Different Characteristics: Elohim is often portrayed as a more distant, transcendent deity, while Yahweh is portrayed as a more personal, immanent deity. Some scholars argue that these different characteristics suggest that they are different deities. 3. Different Origins: Some scholars argue that the name Yahweh is associated with the southern kingdom of Judah, while the name Elohim is associated with the northern kingdom of Israel. This difference in origin could suggest that they were originally separate deities worshipped by different communities. 4. Different Roles: Elohim is often associated with creation and judgment, while Yahweh is often associated with salvation and redemption. Some scholars argue that these different roles suggest that they are different deities with distinct spheres of influence. 5. Different Historical Contexts: The use of the name Elohim is more prevalent in the early books of the Hebrew Bible, while the name Yahweh becomes more prominent in later books. Some scholars argue that this suggests that the conception of the divine changed over time, and that Elohim and Yahweh might represent different deities worshipped at different points in history.

What your looking for is knowledge you can have knowledge and not have wisdom. One can be skilled by knowledge. But if you don't learn the answer for death that is the answer for GOD THEN ALL THAT KNOWLEDGE WAS A WASTE AND WITHOUT COUNSEL. There was no wisdom. Wisdom binding all things together you must have a cause. Hence my people die without vision without cause. They never put it the heart wisdom puts all things to heart. Why an adulterer so is his own cord and has no wisdom. Because she answers for the sons 10k sons. And it is wisdom to know who's she belongs to. You cannot get wisdom unless the father approves you. This is wisdom in itself. To know who's she is. And how to obtain her. You have to get the father's approval. You have to put it the heart cuz his business is the family that's again locking adulterers out. The true keep the commands you'll get wisdom cuz the commands are from the father. And there is nothing better in all life than to obey the command of GOD.

I'm so disappointed with this podcast. I thought at the very least they would talk about 1 Thessalonians chapter 4: 13Brothers, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death,c so that you will not grieve like the rest, who are without hope. 14For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him. 15By the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise. 17After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. We could clearly see here that the apostles knew that death was a sleep and wanted to assure people that the dead will be resurrected at the Lord’s coming.
