Lmao , a little word of advice just do it step by step as you watch the video rather than watching the full video and making your attempt I’ve found that too be more effective

I ran my power wire inside the original hole with that harness, I didn’t make a new hole. Very tight, hope that’ll be ok. Don’t see why it wouldn’t be. Heard you say “to keep it far as possible from the factory harness”.

I just wonder for what reason why you would want not to have oem audiophile stereo in f150. Best stereo by far. I drive the gas guzzling pos juat because of the stereo

Im confused on How do you wire the amp to the door speakers? Or do you just run the amp to the head unit ? My 05’ has the stock amp and sub and i’m changing the amp to a skar amp and pioneer head unit

Will not lie, somewhat skipped through to see if you said anything about what to do with the stock sub box in models like fx4 for example. Not sure if its worth going through the hassle to just leave it and use as part of the new system when dumping in some 12's an a much larger amp for those.

Got an 04 f150, do I have to tap the Amp to my door speakers or will the head u it be fine and also any suggestions on what brand of speakers to get and where from

The amp is mounted right in front of the floor vent...is blowing hot air on it (in winter with heater on) not a concern? I'm trying to figure out how to extend that vent duct to blow past the amp in an install I'm getting ready to do. Thanks!

Awesome vid!..followed it step by step to do my install . Got a question.What do you do if your rca wires are male and the subwoffer wires coming out of the back of the head unit is male also? I thought I had female rca Jack's in the back of my head unit but I was wrong..all I have is two wired with a male end on them..they say subwoofer on them..thanks!

I dig what you’ve done. Just a quick question, why not tap the existing rear speakers with rca converter instead of run up into the radio? I’m about to do an install on my 06 f150.

You can tap into the Speaker signal at any point with your line out converter, whether behind the radio or in the B pillar, your call if running the factory radio. Since we had an aftermarket radio, we connected the RCA cables right into the sub output of our aftermarket JVC radio.

Depends on the stereo and amp...Factory radio would need some sort of line out converter generally. Aftermarket units have an RCA output.

I plan on using 1/0 gauge wire from my battery to the amp, which is under the passenger seat as well, will the 1/0 fit through that hole in the firewall??

Yes you can make the hole as big as you need it to be, the holes are fairly large

How long does it take for boxes to be made for these trucks I went into a audio store for dual 10s and it’s been almost a week and they still haven’t called me any suggestions ( this will be my first set up) thank you
