I have the Proxima light blue dial version, it is an awesome watch and a real head turner, it has a black bezel insert which makes the light blue dial really pop

I think this is the best tuna homage currently. Proxima are killing it. I'm tempted to get either this or the steeldive puck to satisfy my hidden lug/round case need.

Beautiful looking watch. I'm glad you are reviewing it. We seem to have the same wrist size, so I like to see how they would look on wrist before purchasing.

So many Tuna homages but this one is stunning, currently waiting for my Heimdallr Monster homage to ship and can't wait to wear it as in always wanted one but for half the price of the Seiko.

How about modding the shroud? Is that possible? That would give you another look within minutes. Bright colours would be great. Yellow, red. Must be possible and inexpensive.

I would say you could just spray it with some metal paint. Great idea on customising the shroud to your own taste.

I got the newest model released and they did away with that dolphin on the back. Also a second Proxima that I owned I sent it to a professional watch modder and he could not get into the watch they screwed down the glass retention ring so tight. That watch is now disposable since I can't even service it one day.

I really liked some previous versions of Proxima tunas with the all-circular hour markings and the brushed stainless steel minute bezel. I don't understand why they decided to go with that polished hour bezel insert on an iconic diver watch that has a very utalitarian look. Big mistake in my opinion, even though the watch still looks good...
