I was a kid still back then.. Just enjoy the music and think about how popular they got internationally as 2 Canadian friends/ band members who used anime to portray themselves and too this day still have a fanbase/ following.

So after being subscribed to Kitboga , Scammer Payback, and Pleasant Green, it’s hard for me NOT to think of this song’s story as being a poor victim being duped by a romance scam based in Nigeria who has sacrificed thousands of his dollars only to walk into a trap by a catfished Nigerian princess.

Man I love this song! I used to listen the crap out of the whole of Hot Show. I was also a big Philosopher Kings fan so it was awesome when Jay Levine came to my high school for some reason back in 98 or 99. He didn’t perform, just signed autographs but it was still cool. Simon and Milo forever!
