Grew up poor…when I was younger, I would take the demo discs out of the magazines (thief), and that’s how I would play newer stuff that I didn’t know about. Also spending time reading the magazines while my mom shopped taught me a lot of what was coming out etc. no internet back then. Very cool vid guys!

Anytime I hear “demo disc”, I immediately think of the PS1 and PS2. I still have my OPM demo discs on PS2, and rebought the demo disc that came with the PSone. Great memories unlocked.

I remember back in the 90s, early 2000s when the official PlayStation magazine had a demo disc and I would visit Borders bookstores, Tower Records, Fry’s Electronics to checkout the magazine sections and it was either for pc gaming, music or just gaming in general. Overall, I do miss those magazines that had demos when it came to music or gaming.

Sports titles go by the year of the championship. Baseball begins and ends in the same year so that's why the number always lines up

I'm super nostalgic for PS1 demo disks. I remember playing the crap out of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Tomb Raider 2, Cool Boarders 2, Armored Core, Metal Gear Solid, Gran Turismo, and more on my childhood demo disks.

Demo Disc have such a nostalgia for me, had such a blast playing them when I was younger. Was so cool to get like 5-10 games (even if only parts) on one disc, I remember the Jampacks for PS1 and 2 were the main ones I use to play, and have picked up some Xbox ones recently. Funny how this is the demo disc you decided to review in this one, I actually seen this at a New/Used store, but the disc was pretty rough. I've heard of something being so good it could Rock Your Socks off, but an entire beard, WOW!!!!!. Very nice selection of genres represented on this disc. This was such an awesome review of the games, truly appreciate all the hard work you put into your videos, Thank you for all you do. Fun fact: when i was a dumb teenager, I leaked the E3 demo for WWF Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth onto the internet. No idea how I got ahold of it, I think a dude I knew got them from someone who swiped it at E3.

We don't currently have any Game Cube demo discs but have been looking. We have quite a few demo discs on other consoles though.

I'm lucky enough to have the entire PS1 demo disc collection in a Tekken 3 sleeve case. I check them out sometimes and get random memories comeback to me lol

I love this new series, I have a ton of magazines and demo discs from PS1, PS2, PC, Dreamcast...! They are like a time stamp and super fun to go back to, keep this series going guys it's a good one! PS I'm still on the fence about Robert shaving his beard, but hey change is good sometimes.... :)

You guys should definitely look more into the PlayStation Underground Jampack issues! The one you guys played was actually the final volume of the compilations, and you should also know that this and the earlier volumes are split into two versions. This one was the Mature edition, there's also an All Ages/Teen Edition, which you can easily tell by the ratings/cover art. Looking forward to seeing you guys cover the rest and other demo discs!

Fun fact: There are 2 versions of JamPack Volume 15 for PS2! One has 9 games the other has 6! 😀

Just found 4 PlayStation 1 demo discs in the loft since your last video . They are from the uk official PlayStation magazine. Oddworld and MGS missions are probably the highlights.

Great video guys!!! I love the Yakuza series. I owned 1 and 2 on PS2 but 3 and 4 on PS3 were my favs. Around the time of Yakuza 0, the first two games were remade as Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2. The originals are great but are a bit tough to play in 2024. Playing through the Kiwami versions and the remasters of 3,4,5 are the way to go. I played some of Zero too, although I stalled out. I own 6 but haven’t gotten to it yet. Judgement is also worth checking out. I love the demo discs of this era and own a few of the ones from PS magazine. Just got my first OG Xbox yesterday and it came very loaded with many emulators and so much content. Like my physical backlog wasn’t bad enough. Wish my luck fellas.

I loved the ps2 demo discs I would get with PlayStation magazine. I had several of them. The first time I played games like Lego star wars 2 and destroy all humans 2 even underrated ps2 games like Area 51 and Cold Winter were bc of demo discs. Awesome video

My PS2 came with a Demo Disc which had Klonoa 2, WWF Smackdown Just Bring It and bunch of other games on it but I mainly played these 2 over and over again. Really enjoying these demo disc episodes so far :)

Nah dude, you got Need for Speed backwards. It's Arcade-y with a couple Sim elements in it, not the other way around. The Wii version of Okami is kind of hilarious. You can literally see the IGN or whoever watermark on the cover art because they couldn't be bothered to use the original artwork and some intern grabbed it off an image search. The only one I have a hard copy of is Yakuza. Great game all things considered like it's age.
