It's so interesting to me that the PS5 due to its choice of color has caused so many to do these DIY jobs or look forward to replacement plates etc. In one way if the console came out black I believe it would never got this much attention in this area but it has and in a way given PS5 more exposure. So what some may originally think was negative is actually turning into a positive. It's a win win for Sony I think. I have never, painted, put stickers, or done any DIY or official custom touches to the design but the PS5 is the first console to make me want to order some carbon looking skin.
