I havent yet listened to this teacing i am anxious to hear, but i saw your lovely comment and could not resist. "The chief musician" is a very mystical concept. This word נצח is translated many ways beside chief musician. It is literally for those with the gift of the full octave of steps on "the way of life." You will find it as the ability to "outrun" or to have "victory." Or, to "pass on" without being seen because iron cell bars cannot contain us. Our way of life was illustrated by Moses as passing through three courts to the Mercy Seat. Very seldom does the Word speak of our progess as steps. Uzza had gone 6 steps when he touched the Ark of Covenant and died. Six steps indicate his holiness. One more step would have given him the full 7 Spirits of God that entwine to the full mystery of God's presence. Faith is multi-portioned which is the subject of the book of Hrbews. Mary of Bethany desired this portion of faith. Jesus said she would not be denied. She took her place at the feet of Jesus and endured the criticism of leaving a woman's work. But the loveliest image of this portion of faith is the sound of the dove. John is also a Hebrew word which means "the beginning of the response of Jah" ( Almighty God.) Jah is the prefix for john, but you will find the root in your concordance under "response." In another language john means "to coo" and in another it is "the dove" known for cooing to its beloved. David speaks of quickening. First, our hearts are quickened--the "preparation of the heart" which "establishes" us with forgiveness and salvation. Righteousness and holiness are the next 2 gifts of faith. But the good part of the master musician is the part that allows us to hear God speak. The master musician will repeat back to the Lord of Lord's the words he hears God speak. The pen of the ready writer would write the words. Sometimes these words give guidance to others. Sometimes the Lord answers your question. ▪︎. Sadly, few people are interested in following Jesus any further than a hand slightly raised when every eye is closed. The Lord has called you to seek his face which is covered in the mystery of the wings of cherubim. He is drawing you with cords of love. ▪︎. Jesus is alive and well. His words are penned on the pages of the book. We are to read it as if we believe every word is true...and repeat it because it is true. Have you put on the robes of righteousness. You receive this grace much like the first. And this one enables us to live in the will of God. "I am righteousness of God in Christ Jesus."
