@@gianlucadibiase7584 anche io sono ancora indeciso. Penso che la soluzione migliore sia un Damato, 1400€ nuovo con banco e alcuni accessori. Ne sto guardando parecchi, si trovano tanti BV20 usati, intorno ai 900€ ma sicuramente sfruttati. Penso che metto da parte ancora un po' e lo ordino direttamente da loro. Quanto vorresti spendere?

@@lupodj9111 anche io stavo guardando i damato. Seguo un ragazzo vilson alba ha un damato abbastanza grande fa video molto educativi sulla tornitura. Ho solo un però sui damato. Quelli più piccoli della gamma assomigliano veramente troppo ai torni cinesi…..

@@gianlucadibiase7584 il loro Newton 20 alla fine altro non é che il BV20, però ti danno il mobile e anche le lunette e contropunte. I loro piccoli anche non sono altro che mini Lathe cinesi della sieg.

@@MaxDallavalle Hi Max, just curious if you had the same problems as I did with the lathe as I and many other did, or if you were lucky enough to receive a good lathe? There's a newer comment I made since I also had reveive my own lathe, in regards to its many problems. Perhaps some reasonable quality models also left their factory, besides the mostly defective ones, so that's why I'm curious how well your lathe works and whether you had any problems with it?

@@pieterveenders9793 this lathe is a big pile of s**t! I have same problems and more! At the second work the motor stop working and i have replaced it with a 1.1kw 220v motor with vfd. I have also replaced rear bearing (is a radial normal bearing) with a conical one, milled the carriage and inserted turcite to try remove backlash. I have converted it into cnc lathe and it have big problems! The spindle is not balanced and at 2500rpm is like a bull on a rodeo, so, if you have the possibility ask for a refound. I have to solve problems because i have request a refound at Amazon for the spindle motor but they reply to me that is not possible, no warranty, nothing...

@@nietzsche7554 i lardoni erano talmente fatti male che non si regolavano. C'è backlash perché al meccanismo anti backlash mancava un pezzo etc. Tutte robe ricostruite con la stesssa macchina. Sul mio canale ci sono video. Ciao

Arriveranno altri video! Comunque consiglio di smontarlo tutto e rimontarlo allineando tutto per bene, smontando il mio ho trovato quasi tutte le viti lasche! Poi si può cambiare il cuscinetto posteriore che è a sfere con uno conico e rifarei anche i due riscontri che sono sotto al carro con due nuovi in bronzo(adesso sono in ghisa) Saluti!

Don't do it David, really don't do it! That thing is such utter shit you're going to hit yourself over the head if you go through with it. Before buying one myself from VEVOR on AliExpress I watched some review video's here on KZfaq as well, and found 3 or 4 video's from the same guy where he showed a whole list of problems it had. By that time I was already in the ordering process but still waiting for it to be shipped (though I had already paid for it), and the guy from those video's said to me he had one piece advice: cancel the order while you still can. But I was stubborn and went through with it anyway, and now I'm stuck with 86 kilo's of scrap metal.... I've made a couple of video's on my own channel showing the problems I had, as far as the amount of play it had on the ways and the run out on the headstock, and with those tolerances they should never have been allowed to leave the factory. Now I do have to add that this lathe is a standard model made by the same factory for several different resellers, and each of those resellers has different contracts with that factory. Some resellers/redistributors pay a lot more for each unit of those lathes but also demands much higher quality and good Quality Control, while others pay the minimum and thus get the bottom of the barrel lathes. VEVOR seems to be in the latter category. For example the Dutch international metalworking machinery redistributor HBM sells this same model of lathe, but they're top notch, however they also ask 1,5-2x as much for them. And the American redistributor Precision Matthews also has those same lathes at a much higher quality, but also a higher price. So my recommendations, don't go for the VEVOR lathes, or at least definitely not the 600x220 ones, they're utter pieces of crap. There are othere sellers in China who do make much better quality lathes, and yes, they will be a bit more expensive if you want to buy a comparable size lathe, but they will also be much better. And even then I still recommend you to replace certain parts such as the headstock bearings.
