Вот именно для этой цели я сделал маленькую проточку на кончиках кулачков. И теперь любая шайба толщиной свыше миллиметра легко зажимается прямо в кулачки.

Making a small grooved adhesive plate works really good too with super glue, but I like this idea even better because you can keep the nice surface appearance without worrying about the heat turning it while removing...

An elegant solution , however just superglue the washer to the ends of the jaws ( it helps if the jaws are clamping something) , the washer doesn’t as a rule need to be concentric , hold it in place for a few moments with something in the tailstock , good enough for rock and roll .

I could tell you how, you need to make several out of shim stock, finish the ID while holding on the OD then do not unclamp and put a bolt through the ID to hold while you remove the OD clamp or bolts then finish the OD

As a time served machinist I must tell you that you are only half right. what you missed is that you need to mark your fixture at number 1 chuck jaw so that you can put your fixture back in the chuck in the same place that you machined it every time to keep concentricity.
