A very insightful - if somewhat sobering - conversation. It really feels like we'll always be at a disadvantage so long as spending on players is tied to revenue. We missed the boat in terms of being able spend in a pre-PSR era and now we are trying to play catch up on a playing field that is strongly tipped against us. I had hopes that the 'Anchoring' measure might level things out a bit, but given that there are also going to be squad budget limits of 70/85% of revenue in the PL, I just don't see how we can close the gap financially in less than 5-7 years (and that's assuming we qualify for Europe consistently and also make big sales most summers). It's very frustrating, but I will just continue to hope that the owners have smart, ambitious plans that can help us overcome the odds. Keep up the great work! UTV!

Maybe do what City did, sell BMH off to a new consortium which basically belongs to the owners, 500 mill?
