How is this similar to scientists in other fields? The importance of the Scientific Method is examined, in order to understand how scientists are able to make/support their claims.

Hello, thank you so much for posting this videos, I just found your channel. I started Psych online for my first time and I haven't even met the professor yet, and I don't understand anything that I am reading because I don't have anyone to explain it to me. Already there is a experimental assignment and I haven't even understood chapter one. Now we have the first quizz due Sunday. Never ever, I will take a class online. Definitely online classes are not for me.

Hello Maria! I'm so glad you found this channel; I really think it will help you with your online PSY class. And yes, I totally understand your sentiments regarding online courses. I have taught many online classes (especially during the pandemic), which is a primary motivation for my creating these videos; they are the actual lecture videos I use in my classes :-) Best of luck to you!

@@mariadavis5316 Hang in there, Maria! Research Methods is one of the most rigorous subjects in General PSY course, although it is often covered very early in the semester. After that, things will be fun and interesting!
