This is the third part in my three-part series on why successful men use escorts. Just like in the commercial marketplace, you typically get what you pay for in the sexual marketplace, as well. In this episode, I respond to the most common objections to the use of escorts, in particular, and to transactional relationships, in general. This should help women better position themselves to effectively target successful men for relationships, if they so choose.

Hi Dr Orion ! 😀 You say that men's sexual market value increases with time (due to more money and status) but women's decreases... then why do women intiate most divorces in their mid thirties and 40s ? Also, does the average man and even above average man really get better with time ? Because women in their prime (early twenties) rarely date men in their mid thirties unless the guy is a top 5% man like celebrity or an athlete, a status most men will never achieve, even with hard work. They date men close to their ages or few years older. Thanks,

This is a common refrain but it isn't exactly right and it needs to be put to bed. You have to remember how terrible they are at work. I'm not being facetious here-really consider it. HR didn't exist before women entered the workforce. In the past there were just a few personnel roles in companies-they dealt with holiday/payroll and other sundry admin functions. Because women complain and moan endlessly however HR is now an industry in its own right with vast phalanxes of people ministering to women's workplace-based complaints. In fact it's one of the few growth industries in the West, scandalously. You have to consider who the ultimate "boss" is. Ignore line managers and people you have to suck up to. Ultimately the real boss is the employer. Thats who cuts the cheque. That's all that matters. And to the employer they behave fairly appallingly. So it isn't very different at all really.

@@sammyb1651 I'm reminded of a rather unpleasant conversation I had with one of the most evil human beings I've ever encountered in my life: A woman in HR who was intentionally manipulating my healthcare benefits when I was undergoing surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy in order to get me to acquiesce to not filing a short-term disability claim for the four weeks I'd be out of work for IV chemo infusions every day. Her line was, "I'm here to help you." My response was, "No, I don't sign your paycheck, the company does. So you're here to protect the company's interests. The problem is you're also on a power trip and grinding me to a pulp is how you get your kicks. I'm sorry that you hate men. But you don't get to take it out on me. As a courtesy, since the chairman of this company's board of directors is a personal friend of mine, I'll discuss what you've proposed with him before I sue the company under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Perhaps he'll seek guidance from his wife, who nearly died of breast cancer." Thankfully, not long afterward, this HR Director "left to pursue other interests." I now run my own small business. And I have a zero-tolerance policy for any crap that remotely resembles this.

I agree with you that a relationship is a privilege. Escorts are not just for sexual encounters. An older rich widower might not ever want to remarry but is missing going out to dinner, to events etc. vacations with a partner. Money can’t buy love, it buys attention and time.

This is so true. I have met a widower who lost 2 wives to cancer and said he would never want to remarry because of what he experienced in his second marriage; he told me that he felt used. Him and his first wife (whom he cherished) couldn't have children, but his second wife has a daughter, who has 2 kids. So, now he just enjoys spending time helping his late wife's daughter and her kids and...sometimes me as well. We've been good friends for about 4 years and as someone who keeps to himself most of the time, he considers me as one of his only friends. There was a transactional element but I still cared about him, checked in and sometimes paid a visit with no expectations of him paying, although he insisted to.

I've heard a divorce attorney say the exact same thing; "the woman you married and the one you meet in divorce court are two totally different people!" I believe that 90% of women DO NOT MARRY THEIR 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice of men, but end up "settling" for a man "good enough for now," so they could have children before it's too late, then leave the guy and take as much money and/or property from him as possible. The same divorce lawyer I quoted above also said that "the marriage contract is the ONLY legal document that you can sign WITHOUT FULL DISCLOSURE OR TRANSPARENCY OF THE TERMS OR IMPLICATIONS OF THE AGREEMENT!" Let that sink in. He went on to say that, " therefore, most people who get married HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT CONTRACT MEANS, UNTIL THEY COME INTO MY OFFICE!"

Cost and benefit is a REAL thing. Husbands often voice how their sex lives are often neglected and get more expensive as a product of time. They find themselves having to do more and more for women who start to desire them less and less. Lack of sexual tension and familiarity often breeds resentment. And remember, "wives don't owe their husband's sex", under these circumstances, why do people expect successful men to be so enthusiastic about marriage? Marriage is a living man's funeral.

Romantic relationships such as marriage need to be recognized and treated as transactional to be successful. For example, the husband role may require being the primary financial provider, protector, leader, heavy-lifter, handyman, s3xually masculine, being father of children in the relationship in exchange of wife-provided services such as feminine s3xuality, cooking, cleaning, house-managing, birthing of babies, nurturing, and so on.

I agree, wholeheartedly. I’ve noticed that in the last few generations, women seem to want men to provide like a husband yet act like a boyfriend and keep them entertained, affirmed and pursued. America is full of lazy harlots that spend their time tearing down their mates then complaining that the same has become worthless. Until that changes, it’s passports and escorts.

I managed Indian offshore teams for years. Nearly all of the IT workers are in marriages arranged by their families. Most IT workers are Bhramin, which is still a thing in India today. Embarrassingly for our Western marriages - the Indian arranged marriages appear to be a lot more successful than our "romantic ones". Contrary to popular Western belief, as long as spouses are very discreet about it, both sides have a lot of leeway. That is one advantage of never having sworn any unworkable romantic claptrap to each other. Practically, commercial interest beats romanticism every single time.

This is the ideal for a "successful" relationship, however in Modern western culture, WOMEN and MEN are no longer CULTIVATED to embrace or taught interdependent gender roles in marriages. Men AND women come up short, too often, because they choose mates for the WRONG reasons or misinterpret their purpose within a marriage. Married couples of yesteryear had VALUE that was beneficial and respectable to each other. VALUE wasn't about a big wallet or exceptional beauty. Ironically, in current society, Feminist women are the most masculine. However, we still won't admit that too many men have been feminized and struggle with the core concepts of masculinity. It has nothing to do with being a rich "chad", "bad" boy or a "nice" guy.

The fact that an escort does not love/like you can be a good thing. Many men actually care a lot/too much about not hurting a woman's feeling, so when they know they only want sex , going to an escort knowing that the escort will not fall in love with them and would not feel heartbroken afterwards is a much better option to them, than e.g., approaching a girl on the street and trying to attract her.

I am a regular at several bars primarily because the women bartenders there remember my name and make me feel welcomed. I totally understand it's in a business context but for the price of a nice meal and a few drinks I get to experience someone giving a shit about me. If that sounds pathetic then note that all my recent first dates found me paying for TWO meals and drinks, going home alone and never hearing from them again.

I am sorry for you, money is great but it is only part of our's life, personal relationship should be built for feeling and being together good and the basis should be separate from money exchange also good part of life. If we only count love as something to get, only giving instead money, this leads to sad situation. We just even lose any feeling if someone is good or bad for us as the person, if he/she is compatible with us to feel good together because of relationship, not money exchange. Same mistake do women and men.

This is accurate. I'd argue that instead of trying to "win" the game, play to enjoy the adventure and its challenges, you'll be happier. Put the right guards in place (prenup, making time for the kids and wifey if you're getting married, low attachment and stoicism of you're casually dating), and the game is actually enjoyable. Those who typically complain about it are the ones who think there's some grand prize at the end of it: there isn't. At best, you'll die with your loving, faithful partner, and that's no different than if you've had three different loving partners to arrive at the same destination. Or you can choose to die alone, that's another quest in the game, albeit boring in my opinion.

Having listened to all 3 parts it intrigues me that so many man have NO idea how to choose a wife! I’ve been married almost 34 years to my first and only wife. If you cannot tell when a woman really wants to be with you, you NEED a good successfully married father or good successfully married male friend who actually cares about you to mentor you but not “hand carry” you. There was no doubt in my mind that my then fiancé really wanted to be with me. She still kisses me when one of us comes home at the end of the work day! We still have “challenges” but marriage takes work. We are not soulmates but we have enough in common to enjoy being with one another yet have enough differences that we enjoy the breaks to pursue hobbies or work. Perhaps you should do some videos of successful marriages and show common traits? Show men how to spot a potential good wife. That beats the heck out of dressing up prostitutes with fancy terms like “escorts.”

Exactly ... a great study. My dad tried to explain this to me as a teenager ... say about 1967. The world had not yet turned to liquid excrement. I wouldn't have characterized myself as a "high value male" at age 20, because I wasn't 6' tall and did not play varsity sports. But, I did have some good mentors, and I guess I grew into what is now considered to be a high value man. I never thought much about it though. I was too busy working my a$$ off at work, coming home to make sure we all got fed supper, that the kids had a parent there to see that homework was done, that they had lunch for school the next day, that the kids had clean clothes for school the next day. I didn't think at all about it until, as a 70-year old my youngest daughter, now 22, said to me: "Dad, I found your high school picture on line. You were HOT. You could have done much better than my mother! I'm glad you didn't because I wouldn't be here, but DAMN, you could have done better." Oh ... 💩. Young men, listen to an old man (75 this year) who has had three wives and reared three children who all turned out well, three kids, two grandkids, and now a great granddaughter who is pretty as a picture and smart for her age. I hope to have more grandchildren and great grandchildren before I pass. Please listen to Dr. Taraban. He speaks the truth. The cost of sex married to a wife who doesn't care about you easily reaches $50K a sexual encounter, maybe closer to $100K in today's money. That's the cheap part. The constant psychological abuse from a woman who is sure she could have done better will destroy your soul and imperil the mental health of your children. Wait for a good woman. Vet her as if it mattered. Talk to her teachers, her friends, her siblings, her pastor or rabbi. If you're a mature man seriously dating a younger woman, get a prenup that protects you both, and protects the children.

How incredibly sad it is, that modern marriage has become a situation where compared to the services of an escort, it has a higher potential level of connection than with an escort, however it also runs an obscenely higher probability of risk, and far greater consequences of damage for the man, when it goes wrong. We have reached a tipping point where now half of all marriages fail, and more than 70% of the time, it is the women who end it. Also, the greater your starting point of wealth, status and achievement going into the marriage as a man, the more you will lose. I suspect that no fault divorce has made marriage not just worthless as a life long commitment. It is now demonstrably a health, wealth and sanity killer for men under most western legal systems. Which is why the rate of marriage is actually dropping, certainly in Australia, and I suspect in other parts of the western world too. . The people who also suffer enormously from this situation are the children of these marriages. They not only come off the rails far more often, early in life - they often become damaged adults.

Since you are talking about what you know so little about let me help you. i've used escorts hundreds of times since the 1970's until a few years ago when my libido, not my money ran out. The 70's-80's was the golden age of escorts, mainly college kids trying to make a buck. For a little extra you got a marvelous experience. They were real 'girl-next-door' types from the days where you hankered after but never got the girl next door. The internet and porn videos in the mid 90's killed it. Tattooed, breast implanted, barbie types, often on drugs, with no personality offering the 'girl-friend' experience' which was anything but, took over.

The secret is that you ALSO have to be a person of value. This way, regardless of if it's WW3 or whatever you will have a massive pool to help you get ahead and make wise choices. These women are mostly in a bad place mentally, they are train wrecks with so many problems and baggage, it's difficult to fathom. "This type of relationships are not the highest experience you can aspire to, but they are far from being the lowest". Many men are truly trapped in loveless marriages with a trainwreck of a woman full of baggage. And they dont even get sex with a hot body. i think its a series to offer self reflection, and the entire theme of his channel: "what am i bringing to the table, what im i getting from it, and why am i in this relationship?" The values of some people that really dont care emotionally about a woman, they might as well just be with an escort. Just as there are women that hate men, but are atracted to them, there are men that feel the same about women.

As someone who is just getting a bit more successful (and is happily married btw), this series of video made complete and total mathematical and logical sense. The part that you are losing is just in constructing legacy; that is the value of a good woman. The rest (dating etc) definitely not worth the cost for people who are worth anywhere close to 200-300 dollars an hour, let alone thousands.

He is in his 40’s and doesn’t have a good woman. He’s made that clear. He’s also made it clear that he has 0 experience with sex work. This didn’t need to be a 3 part series because he doesn’t have enough expertise but the game is maximum content.

You can’t call it a success until one party passes away. Even 25 years doesn’t guarantee you’ll make it to 30. Your “legacy” can be taken away very quickly. If both of you are happy, in love, sexually active long-term, know that you have a winning lottery ticket. It happens, but it’s not the norm. It’s not what most people experience.

Always expect any woman you have a relationship with to have a backup plan. I'm not advocating for infidelity of course, but having escorts as a single man has kept me sane. A lot of them are very nice women and treat me with respect. Some aren't, but that's just life.

This video actually made me laugh. Orion going through the typical response of "An escort doesn't love you. She doesn't even like you. She loathes the sight of you. She's just sticking around because of the money." Yeah. And other than the fact that the man who picks the escort is getting frequent sex, this is different from a marriage how?

This is especially relevant today as "relationships" have become more and more transactional. Women, thanks in no small part to social media, I believe, have reduced dating to a game where they see how much free sh*t they can get from a guy who thinks they like them before they cut the cord.

This is a great Video. This brings back painful memories which i have been enduring. My relationship of 5 years ended 3 months ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

Hey Orion, I showed your previous video to two female friends from Denmark, their main objection was, our time also cost. And even it made sense what you logically explained, they didn’t take it well from the emotional side. They said they disagreed due to being very “American man perspective based”. Not a critic but a feedback. Keep the great work

@@rayrwyr And when the woman you marry levels false accusations of domestic abuse against you in an effort to enhance her position during a divorce proceeding and/or child custody battle, you’ll be arrested and go to prison for that. So there is the danger of imprisonment associated with both a traditional and a non-traditional pursuit of affection. I have not done any research on this, but I suspect the number of people who are on the receiving end of false accusations of domestic abuse greatly exceeds the number of men who are arrested for soliciting prostitutes. But we don’t have to be precise, we can simply conclude that these are offsetting considerations.

@@MrSethmo13 -- I did not see marriage as a criminal accusation hazard but I agree that it can happen. A woman can get a man arrested based on false accusation. Apparently making false accusation to ruin someone's life is not a crime.

This only makes sense in the context of $ per sexual encounter, which is a very reductionist way to view "relationships." I understand the rationale but I would highly discourage people from the shallow pursuit of sexual gratification. As someone with a regrettably high body count, I can say that every sexual encounter outside of marriage damages you psychologically and spiritually.
