Heya! I’m wondering if anyone can help me figure out the issue going on with my mic? I am using a Sennheiser MKE2 with a basic steel mesh windscreen. It seems like the mic is picking up additional “wind”? This issue has affected my last few videos now. I hope it wasn’t too much of a distraction.

Sounds pretty good to me as well. I might recommend experimenting with a “de-esser” processor and an EQ that is geared more towards a female speaking voice if you’re not using one already. Those things with a light compressor should give a pretty clean sound.

I think you might be brushing the mic while you speak or something is scratching on the cable. If you still can't get rid of it try using a De-esser like Jake said. There's a variety of plugins online you could use with whatever program your using. Hope you fix it!

These types of haters are everywhere. The best defense is ridicule. I remember the episode of the Jimmy Dore show, Duncan Trussell was the guest, and people in the live chat were taking him to task, accusing him of promoting "Toxic Happiness", in the same way Joe Rogan could be said to promote "Toxic Masculinity". LOL!

Integration for me, is during the pause days of microdosing. Meditation, alot of rest and practising gratitude and forgiveness. Occasionally its realy hard, but it has proven to me that it works with addictions of the new age. Emotional exhaustion is some times challenging, but the relief I feel, is showing me that the mind can be reshaped in what ever I choose it to be used for. Detachment from ego and embracing all aspects of my self was such a blessing, that I often feel embraced by the universal love which I felt during the micro-trips. In some form, I think, this is successful integration. Thank you for this video! Love & Light, Andrej

This video came at the perfect time for me. I’ve felt defeated for a few weeks because the changes that I made following my shrooms trip hasn’t stuck and I honestly felt like a lost cause. I realize now that it is my environment that made me start those habits in the first place. I guess going forward I’ll first get out of this situation, and then another voyage to celebrate.

Integration is one of those things that have just fallen into my lap, so to speak. Even back in the day when I would do party doses with my friends, the next day, or even in a dream afterwards, I found myself answering questions about why I acted, said, or felt about something that was not apparent to me before. Now with micro dosing, I find myself discovering in the same way. And yes, the hard part is to change the things that do not serve any more. Keep up the good work.😊

WOW- thank you for this video. I have just started micro dosing and I want to have a guided experience. I have spent a couple of weeks trying to learn not only the process but also how to find a guide in my hood to help me do that. I have watched hours and hours of videos on KZfaq, and your channel is the best, and this video in particular is the holy grail - I was able to locate three therapists in my hood by simply pausing your video for 3 minutes while I went to a web site you provided. Two weeks worth of surfing and i never came across this site, which is exactly what I was looking for. I subscribed to your channel and have been watching you videos- they are all packed with insight. My intention and my actions with the micro dosing have been structured by watching your videos.

I am beginning my travels with psychedelics. I haven’t even started. This video let me know that there’s an MD or practitioner in the UK that can help me make sense of many and varied Q’s ….if that is what happens to me. Also that there is a support community online for integration. This is great news. My illness isolates me so much, any connections made in this ‘trip’ will be so wonderful, especially if they help lift me closer to who I really am and doing those things that serve me best. Thank you @JulianneKeu you have given me lots of information and ideas. Much love from SE England xx

First and foremost I’d like to thank you for another great video. Integration is Thee most important thing and highly essential while journeying. The journey continues as you move through life daily. Integrating with like minded who share the same experiences can bring so much insight, our growth is often measured by the rate of others, especially when we can’t see ourselves 🙂. I’ve tried integrating with people who haven’t shared the same experiences and they thought I was crazy lol. Integration helps develop community which is so needed in the psychedelic realm. And you my friend have continued to provide that community 🙂. It’s difficult to articulate the language these plants speak, so I often reach out to others or watch videos 😉

Thank you. I have watched several of your videos, and enjoyed all of them, but this is the first time commenting. The content and narratives reflect the incredible amount of research and preparation you've done and the way you integrate your own personal stories and insights into these videos makes the viewing experience truly one of a kind....authentic. Congratulations and please keep sharing...I am learning a lot from you. I am fortunate to have a few close people in my circle that I openly talk about my experience including my partner as an well-established integration coach. You are so right that it is a lot of work, yet I am continue being drawn into the magic, mystery, and the beauty in which that leads me how to process my pain, build strength to stay balanced, and to let go of my needs (especially that no longer serve me - sound familiar? :). I believe we also receive healing as we share our learnings, so what is negative about sharing stories? Thanks again, Julianne. p.s. I also appreciate the style at which you share your learning on your channel. :)

Just wanted to let you know that I absolutely LOVE your videos. I was struggling with alcohol abuse, leading into a more serious addiction and I started to get clean, but I was becoming what they call a “dry drunk”. I had tripped with Mushrooms when I was a teen, and really had no desire to do so again, but then I heard about micro dosing. Watched a lot of videos (including yours) and decided to give it a try. The positive effects blew me away. Not only did my cravings/urges become almost nothing, but I am off anti depressants for the first time in probably 10 years. That was not even part of my plan, it just happened and I feel better now than I ever did on them! But with the addiction, I feel like my previous months of dry knuckling sobriety actually helped me to establish my intent, and that’s why I was so helped by the shrooms. I hate how KZfaq sensors things…. So irritating 😠 this stuff is medicine and it can help!

I did LSD and shrooms as a teenager back in the early 70s. As many did back in that era. But you can't keep taking it. To really integrate the experience into your soul and personality, you need to practice awareness. This is what meditation is, whether you choose yoga or Buddhism, or even Christian mystical practices, this is the lifelong dharma practice. Are you aware in this moment? That's it. Practice every day, every moment, not so easy! Do vipassana, become a zen monk, it's all available today, unlike back in the day.

I think that you are amazing Julianne. I really appreciate your mind. Be glad that some people want to be hurtful and say mean spirited things. It means that you are challenging them and their thoughts. Growth isn't easy, especially personal psychological and spiritual growth. Different people respond very differently to challenges if at all. We are in socially stressful times. Beacons like you are very necessary. I hope that this helps you keep your footing. Your footing helping me find and keep mine. I thank you for helping. About the mic. I don't know if this is an issue with the brand of mic or style, possibly even placement. I like the brand pretty much across the board. The only thing that I have experienced like this is wittnessing someone who was using one and it was placed near their windpipe in the center of their chest. It was detecting the persons breathing which at the early stages of either asthma or some breathing related issue. They are very sensitive. Almost like a digital stethoscope. Peoples attention spans are very challenged, especially when watching a video like yours packed with so much great information that you passionately share. In addition many folks watch videos with many distractions going on around them. I appreciate your thoughtful and organized presentations. You make it look easy but I bet you put far more into the making of these than we realize. Someday when you know your ready and the time is right your going to trip online and it will be astounding. I hope to experience it with you. .........♡

Thanks so much for this video. I appreciate your work. I recently underwent a PAP session with psilocybin with the specific intent of discovering the things standing in the way of me being me and me having a relationship with the god of my understanding. I did not fully realize the depth of such a journey or how deep the roots would go. It blew me away how quickly the answer surfaced. It also ineffably surprised me the scope of such an intent. Integration is undoubtedly very important to me. I definitely do not want to lose any of the insight and acceptance that occurred during my experience. Part of how I'm doing this is to journal daily about how close I am living in harmony with what I learned. I'm currently seeking out a therapist skilled in this area also. It was mostly a "duh" moment that occurred following the first acceptance, basically something I knew intellectually but emotionally did not ever process. Thanks again for your time and forget about the trolls. I appreciate your work.

I fully agree, the insights learned in a psychedelic experience will slip away like sands through your fingers if you don’t integrate them someway.

Great content! The integration process is so important. Deeply sacred indeed. This is a really well presented video with so many helpful tips. I appreciate you taking the time to produce this. On a early video side note I want to mention from experience our school systems taught us to not use Wikipedia as a source of information for various reasons and i've seen google does use algorithms to manipulate presented data. I don't condone bills message or behavior but I'm glad it inspired you. Overall, keep up your supportive videos like this. You're helping so many people.

Thanks for your insights! I probably wouldn't have spent more that 1 second of precious, fantastic time thinking about those type of fear based low consciousness type of comments and just send them a loving thought that they may expand themselves. Like when the burglar came to burgle the awakened mans home and he helped the burglar pack his sack full of items, the confused burglar left and the awakened man thought out loud "but I can't give you the moon!". Keep up your awesomeness!

My integration practices have mainly involved adaptations in behaviour along with listening to psychedelic folks like Terence McKenna or Ram Dass. That served me fairly well for the most part. Recently, though, I had a psychic experience on 5.5 grams and I'm still a little freaked out by it. Not sure if I believe in what I experienced. More recently I'm learning towards the whole "you were on mushrooms and your brain was so connected that it just felt real," but that is at odds with some of my axioms, which I'm not sure how to adapt, and I can't quite shake the feeling that my ego is just trying to deny that part of reality out of fear of seeming crazy, and of having a psychic/shamanic awakening that leaves me exposed to others who can "see," so to speak. But what if embracing that "reality," would actually just be me going off the deep end into actual insanity? I'm sure I'll work this out at some point. I've managed to integrate pretty much everything else from my previous trips. The telepathy is just tricky because it's not personally meaningful, emotional stuff, or a lesson, or anything like that. More like an invitation to join the some secret telepathic psychonaut community that literally exists in a hidden part of everyday reality or something. Idk... I think I need to ask more experienced psilocybin people if "the path" is leading where I'm thinking it's leading.

Sounds like you had a pretty intense experience, 5.5g is definitely into the heroic range, depending on strain, potency and flush production of course. I'm far from inexperienced in that dosage range between 5g-10g. I've never personally experienced such phenomena but, as I understand, they are not that uncommon. I have experienced other bizarre phenomena such as the sense of being dead (read ego dissolution/death), experiencing deeper insight into the nature of consciousness, heightened awareness that we are not alone in this universe and finally an almost uncanny elevation of senses to the point that I was able to interpret or understand something generally accepted as ineffable. Following the JH protocol for integration, I honestly can't tell you what your experience means for you. That is a journey you must process and come to terms with and I can't emphasize the importance of having someone skilled, and not also on it, present with you to assure you of safety and well being. It may be a good starting point for you to deeply examine your core value structure that has been challenged, in a non judgemental manger, and put it on paper or in recording. Something special happens in the psyche when you transfer what's in your mind onto paper or tape, especially paper though because of the interaction of different areas of the brain to do so. Don't worry about being accurate because you will not ever find the words to adequately explain your experience. Just free write and let your mind process the experience. I will close by saying that in my last experience I closely followed the guidelines for JH psychedelic therapy, with the exception of having music (I really enjoy music on psilocybin and did not want it to distract me). That included a couple weeks preparing for the experience, along with journaling about my intent to address. This pre-trip practice made all the difference in the world between "just taking a bunch of shrooms" and actually taking an inward personal journey with the intent of finding and identifying major issues that are troubling me. Since I knew what I was after, the answer came very quickly and led to a breakdown of many other road blocks in a very short time. I can't say the same will happen for you, this is just my experience. Psilocybin is not a cure all and will definitely not do the work for you. It does open the doors to identifying and changing non serving behaviors in a relatively short time. Best wishes and I hope you find what you're seeking. Truth is there if you seek it with all your heart.

I've worked as a psychic for years now, and am also in training as a psychdelic guide. To me, what these telepathic experiences with the medicines are revealing is that we are not nearly so separate as we think we are. We are ultimately all the same mind creating our own fractal versions of reality from our unique points of reference/view. So take that or leave it, but I personally do not think you are going off the deep end into insanity. Rather, I feel "the path" is in fact leading you where you think it's leading, and probably into experiences you only have a vague sense about, but will make more sense the more you explore and integrate. Deep listening to yourself and your energy is key. And lots of love for self and so-called others.

Thanks for sharing your integration toolkit. I didn't realize MAPS had their own therapists available to assist with purposing our experiences. I have journaled during and immediately after in attempts to hold onto some of the thoughts and ideas the streamed through my consciousness during past experiences; it almost as if there are ways of thinking and reacting that seem to work only when "on the other side"...I have been able to bring back little tidbits here and there that have proved to be useful. Another thing that I love to bring back are realizations of humorous absurdities in some of the stuff that otherwise seems so serious and like a big deal...takes the power out of what was otherwise overwhelming before having those realizations. Does that even make sense?! :) Got to say that you handled the encounter pretty well. I wouldn't worry about that dude too much. Don't let folks like that waste your flavor. If anything, wish good on that guy. Seems like he might have work to do (as we all do). Take good care and have fun! 🙂🙂🙂

Yes it does make sense. :) The therapists listed in the MAPS directory are not officially endorsed by MAPS... they're just therapists that specialize in psychedelic integration. (Should've clarified; my bad)

You just added value to my life by sharing MAPS. I did ketamine infusion therapy last month and the results haven't stuck, and I desperately sought but couldn't find a good integration therapist. I am going to go on a journey now with psilocybin but before I do, I will find a therapist. Thank you so much!!
