It was a bypass two cycle diesel engine, the fuel was nitro methane with castor oil as the lubricant and yes it oiled down the whole plane, car it ran in. @@vanpenguin22

Can you elaborate on this? I would like to have a clearer understanding of how the start crank system works on these planes.

@@shawnwynecoop8491 I have enough parts for a complete airplane. Want to sell everything. Air frame is mostly completed. Middle section done. New engine overhauled. Price would be around 45,000. I also have extra parts. We might have a couple extra windshield frames. I am bobcansee@yahoo.com.

@@steveblocher8437 Yes there are enough parts to build a PT 19. Center section is built. I believe both wings are built. Fuselage was being built when the owner passed. No work has been done on it sense.
