@@fifibrown13it looks like kudzu vine which was introduced to some of the southern states in the 1800s to control erosion. It is extremely invasive here and will cover literally everything in its path, trees, buildings, vehicles, etc. Kids who misbehaved used to be threatened with being tied up and left in the kudzu patch.

Kudzu has roots that can grow to 12 feet. It truly is a monster. You all were brave to try to tackle taming this monster. Looks SO much better!! Sorry about the hand accident. It's a wonder the kudzu didn't swallow you up.

if they don't find the roots and dig them up... that mess will be right back, and if the owners don't either hire some one OR mow that yard weekly that kudzu will be back in a month.

@@bamiller7229 2 ways 1 legal, 1 not so legal. Legal = dig up the roots which can be as big as tree stumps and burn them out. not so legal = find the roots, saturate the area in bleach or other environmental bad things and kill the root, and the soil around it for years. Either way after you have gotten rid of it you PRAY that the surrounding areas also deal with their infestations or a breeze could bring the seeds back into your yard and you have to start the process all over again.

YES... LET YOUR HAND HEAL...ALLL THE WAY. KEEP THOSE FINGERS SUPPORTED...THEY NEED REST WHILE IT HEALS FASTER. BLESS YOU. If you get those "material" bandaids..insteadof the plastic outsides... and get the box with various sizes and a box of the big ones. the wide ones. you can carefully keep your fingers supported but not choked and those bandaids feel good to the touch.. and are flexible.

There is kudzu behind our apartment complex and the landlord had someone to cut it back but he didn’t stay on top of it and now it has taken over again and that’s the problem he never keeps up with the weeds and he just lets it go

Kudzu apparently...Reminds me of the Convolulous vine ,we have in NZ. The stuff grows so fast and can suffocate trees and gardens .Nasty stuff

I don't know the full story behind this but if he was living there the entire time then it doesn't speak much for him to let that happen. He needs to kiss the ground his fiance walks on for her initiative to get that mess cleaned up. They'll have to really stay on top of it or it'll be back before they know it especially since the neighbor's yard is also full of the Kudzu vines.

She’s doing better. When he went to Japan, she lived in another state very far from Virginia. She didn’t know he didn’t leave someone in charge of the property for had she known that she would not have let him leave it abandoned.

Hello, and yes, my wife and I are both veterans. She retired after 21 years and I myself did three years though we have done drastic yards for free. We charged for this one. Nevertheless, we did not get paid what we quoted, for it was saying they could not afford what it really cost so we gave them a break. Thanks for your support.

It took us 4 days. My wife almost cut off her fingers at the end of the fourth day so I returned to tighten up the last little bit the fifth day but officially 4 days. No I don't get in a tight about people in their yards because if it wasn't for the yards we wouldn't have an opportunity to display the talents the Lord give us and also make a profit to feed our families and give back in the community where people need help.

This material growing all over the place looks like it would be good for basket weaving but horrible for a yard. The neighbors' yards have it, too. What a nightmarish cleanup. You did a great job!

The neighbour needs to hire them to do their yard as well.. what a nightmarish vine to grow like that.. I think the big trees that are covered would never recover and should be just cut down and be done with it.

I would have filed a complaint with the city or township. Whatever that area is considered as! All of that overgrowth came from the neighbor's property! And it is apparent that that is exactly what happened. Because when you look over that wood privacy fence, you can see right where it's still sitting!

Hello dear friend. I am glad to report that she is doing a lot better. I guess there's no such thing as light duty and Lawn Care so basically she still out of work but I'm still on the grind. We thank you so much

Great to see another couple working together cleaning up yards. Without this collaboration it would have taken a week to clean it up. Hope your wife is getting better...shows just how careful you have to be. 👍👍🇦🇺 Those vines dont look thick but they were so intertwined, you could have been cutting bushes. Hope the owner was happy with the result.❤😁

You know what is interesting you say that because I saw someone using I believe one of those on a job almost as bad as this and I recorded them to make a point that there is more than one way to skin a cat lol lol. There is how we did it and there is how that guy did it.

My friend we need a whole lot more views to afford one of those things. I would think this yard is worth 5 to 6 million views but even that wouldn't afford one of those tractor things I don't think. We're grateful for the support we have and will continue to bring the content we can until we get the full support we hope for

I'm so glad to hear that your wife is doing ok! You two did an awesome job! In reply to your new toy, I had one of those many years ago, I called it a bushwhacker. We backed up to thick woods at the time, so I made paths all through the woods for my kids to use it for a go-cart course. They loved it! There all grown up now with kids of there own but we will always remember the tracks and all the fun they had.

This was a toughest job for a lawn care service to take on that I have ever seen. Jobs like this are often done with a forest mulcher machine. Much respect to you and your wife. You got the job done and worked really hard to do it. Well done! Hope all is well with your wife. You got a good one!
