Look at half the cars on the road and how much they cost. Most of the more efficient hybrids and electric cars still cost much more. And this is much better than any electric car

@@user-md3is4dq2d I think I was talking people who already have a car. They are not going to sell their cars to buy this thing which has barely any load carrying capacity.

@@dandcc9192 most people barely use the max carrying capacity of a car so most car usage is just rolling with empty passengers seats and empty trunk and that just makes the cost of transporting items and people higher than necessary the car lose its value with mileage for nothing

@@zazugee Most people also often use cars to get groceries and sometimes to move larger items or family members and pets. And are you saying this will not lose value on mileage? My point stands.

@@dandcc9192 most people don't need that much capacity, i happen to use my father's and sister's cars most cars are designed with a capacity that few people use at full i dont think most cars design is optimal they are made for cases when you go on a city to city trip or vacation and not for daily commuting if you need to go on a trip every week i understand bu when you only need the max cap of your car once in a month or a few months then this is a case of over-design i mostly prefer to go downtown on my bicycle, even tho my family asks me to use a car, but i dont need it most of the time few times where i need a car a car running with empty passengers seats and trunk is more costly for that trip every mileage you use, is deduced from the car's value and thus if you're running a huge car for a simple commute of a few miles then you're paying extra for what should be a cheap trip i wont go into externalities like the effect of overdependence on the car for your health not saying you should sell your car, but you dont need to run it for most of your trips leave it in the garade for when you really need it and alot of people have a big car for trips and a small car for city commute you can keep only one for long vacation trips and use ebike/recumbent/velomobile for for city commuting

Short term answer buy one. depends where you are most are manufactured in Europe or the UK although USA has it's market. Long term make one based on a recumbent bike. A little research will give you free plans and lots of information. Yes I do own one - I am 65 ans built it in 1989
