Hi Everyone .
Pubs on the cut is a new feature that I am adding to the channel this year. It's basically me and the hounds walking and discovering the pubs around the area where we are moored at the time, taking in some of the scenery and talking to the locals. This is the first one of the series . It's a bit rough around the edges and I had of hoped to have edited it a bit more but i'm really having problems with my computer at the moment . It's been in for repair but sadly it's still not firing on all cylinders. I may have to sell a kidney and stump up the money for a new one . Boating vlogs will resume soon and will be released every Sunday at 8am starting on the 21st Jan this year. We were meant to be heading for the river Trent but something has come up and I need to head south to the Gloucester & Sharpness canal for a bit so we will be recording that journey along the way. Pubs on the cut will be a mid week vlog and wont be every week . Hope you are all well.

Great to see you guys again. Really cheers me up to see the pups and the boat and that fantastic scenery. So good, I watched it twice. ;) Did you really leave yer keys in the door? That's funny.

Cheers Del. I saw on your recent blog, a kettle and toaster in use and I thought that's new, you followed up with your positive comment re said batteries. Just wondered how much of a difference they make to your day😊

Hi They make a big difference in the summer. It's basically like being plugged in. The solar is rubbish in the winter so have to be cruising to keep the charge up. My friend Martin did a vlog on his channel called "narrowboat electrician " so best to check that out. Just don't go down the hybrid route where you dump a lithium into your existing lead acid batteries. It's a bodge that will only end in tears. 👍

It's freezing outside & it's nice to see you in shorts & sandals with the boys by the Pontcysyllte aqueduct. Agree completely about the thug music, they rap on about rape as well as killing people, really lovely listening. Spike looks like he's struggling, hope he's more comfortable on whatever he takes for his pain these days. Look forward to seeing you more often, well done for checking on the van man by the way.
