Love the idea, fun way to mix it up when I make BBQ in general. Could see adapting this to all sorts of leftovers from a cook. A fun way to interpret those ingredients.

I used to live in Santa Rosa CA and we would go to Guy Fieri”s restaurant Tex Wasabi. I used to get the Gringo Sushi which was very similar to this. YuM!

@@shawnsvoboda3481 Shawn, you said smoker/grill. Will this be your primary or only grill? What percentage of the time will you be grilling vs. smoking, roasting or baking? How many will you be cooking for? Have you honed in on fuel type: gas, charcoal or pellet? There are other great questions that relate to convenience, ease of cleaning, time to heat up and so on. It might be easiest to get on a phone call together. Thanks, Don.

Interesting concept. Would have never thought to put pulled pork in a sushi roll, but now that you did this, I bet this might be even better as an onigiri. You should give pulled pork onigiri a go!

@@AndrewJohnDavidson I think you might be correct; he usually uses products they offer from the shop. I personally have a Shun classic chef's knife; doesn't hold it's edge as long as my Takamura, but it does take a good sharpening.
