Hello, j'ai une petite question, arrives tu à souder les différents filaments ensemble ? Je n'y arrive pas de mon côté

Hello, Oui j'y arrive.

do you have a filament diameter sensor to control the motor speed? I'm trying to build a pullstruder with a stepper motor and it's driving me nuts because the other sensor readings and display (temperature pid control and diameter sensors and display) interfere with the stepper control making it run rough af, anybody know how I could control the stepper smoothly while doing other calculations and not needing two arduinos?
@freedom2000
@freedom2000 Жыл бұрын
Hi, No there is no need for a filament diameter sensor. I do use a wiper motor driven on the low speed and with 5V DC supply. The speed is really smooth and doesn't need any regulation not electronics.

I'm closer to getting it finished, would a higher temperature make it easier to pull the filament through the hot end? what is the limit? I have tried 230C through a 1.5mm hole but it took a bit of force to pull, at what point does it become too soft to pull and break? my extruder hole isn't perfectly conical also because I did it in steps with various drill sizes so the contact isn't optimal
@freedom2000
@freedom2000 Жыл бұрын
be sure not to increase the output hole more than 1.5mm then try to shorten the lenght of this 1.5mm drill on the "big side" with the 2mm drill and above. The 1.5mm lenght should be 1mm almost. If bigger the filament will force and break. I pull my filament at 200°C and it works. The only critical part is the 1.5mm hole length. Ty severa times carefully not to increase the 1.5mm diam at the output

@@freedom2000 good ideea, I have also optimized the conical surface with a conical mill now there are no steps, I have seen people extrude even at 240C, I have increased the hole tho, to 1.7mm, It will be no problem because I also have a filament diameter sensor which will speed up the stepper if the diameter increases too much, I'm trying to make it as efficient as possible and to not load the motor too much, will test everything in a few days

@@freedom2000 my nozzle keeps getting stuck I can't even pull the filament with pliers, I have tried 210 up to 260 degrees, the pet strip turns white and becomes rigid, It slides for 10-20 cm or so and then it gets stuck again, could this be caused by a too thick strip? 0.6mm thick and 6mm wide
@freedom2000
@freedom2000 Жыл бұрын
@@alf3071 my bottles are .4mm thick. And my ribbon around 8 to 9mm width. I never go above 210°C as setpoint for the PID. If your filament goes white and rigid it is merlting and cristalyze ... it's way too hot !
@alf3071
@alf3071 Жыл бұрын
@@freedom2000 the bottle thickness was the problem, thinner strips slide better, this bottle started thicker and went thinner towards the neck of the bottle, I need to find bottles with more constant thickness, and a better way to cut them since now I did it with the cutter blade method
