I like to know if I can use fresh steamed pumpkin and blend it myself? And what is yellow box powder? I am not sure what is that and if it’s available here. Is this an instant premix cake flour? Can I use any substitute?

Could you layer the ingredients in reverse except butter so you don't have to take it out of the pan to frost it?
