A reminder next time you go on social media to attack someone you prob never even met, look to this as a lesson not to judge or criticize bc none of us is perfect. Even Jesus himself says at the end of this clip, "then neither do I judge you". And He was PERFECT. He asks us to look within ourselves.

Makes me sick the way every one is judging OJ when there isn't a way they could possibly know! They were not there. There are other real possibilities for the murders but everyone is too focused on OJ. They judge and wish horrible things for the man in the afterlife that THE family members can see! That makes the social media judges the guilty ones for saying such nasty things. They would have been the stoners back then. They should be careful that they are not falsely accused with planted evidence some day. That very thing could happen to anyone.

@@mikekenyon8483 the problem is we judge far to quick without thinking it through. Even without knowing the person we make shit up about that person! Wrong! I don't read the Bible neither do I believe in the church. We need to learn to see the bigger picture of the world. It all happens for a reason there are no accidents. Those who do wrong yes they need to be judged not out of anger only to give the innocent justice. They shouldn't have done it in the first place. Love and light ❤️💡

This Scene was meant by Lord Jesus Christ of Judging/condemning..passing judgement to another. However, pointing to your neighbor that he is sinning and that he should repent and change his lifestyle is not judging. Its guiding others to see " light". And it's Christian's duty to guide souls who are living in darkness back to the light. 'Not judging' is not the same as 'tolerating' one's wickedness. If some one is gossiping/doing any wickedness or immorality , a child of God, should correct it. It should be done in loving and gentle way, not in a harsh way. Do not be cruel to our brethren who are sinning. We should remember that we could be on the same situation. It is not judging. The problem with people and nowadays society, they dont want anybody to point out their mistake, they would say its judging. So what these people wanted? just to 'mind your own business' thing and tolerate what they are doing?! People are using Bible verses for their personal evil agenda. Saying that we are not allowed to judge, its in the Bible. Oh come one?! Are these people do not know the difference between judging/condemnation vs rebuking/correcting?! Seeing evil in their midst, the children of God should open up their mouth, and opposed it. If not, God would charge them as partakers of evil deeds of their neighbor. However, correcting neighbor is not enforcing, but reminding and encouraging to stop the wickedness of their doing.

@wainwynter5541 Жыл бұрын
What a lot of people don't know about in this story of the bible is deeper than the obvious. I will not explain the part most understand, but I will say that there was a jewish law handed down by Moses that for certain sins or crimes like repeat stealing, blasphemy and adultery were stoning offences by God's old Mosaic law. However there were rules once a sentence of stoning is served. Like who can take part in that particular stoning. Now if the offence was blasphemy any one who has ever been tried for blasphemy in the past, even if he has been proved innocent or even worse not enough evidence was found to be sure of the person's guilt. The law states that person, in the future cannot take part in judging and help carrying out the sentence in Any blasphemy case ever. Only other cases. Now in this story the woman is charged with adultery as was a prostitute and was caught in the act. Now alot of Jews slept with prostitutes at these days, even if it was done quietly and in secret. The Jewish priests also but they paid higher for a more discreet service so many of their flock didn't even know, Jesus knew that the majority of the stoning crowd (priest's included) were adulterers which in God's eyes would make them all disqualified in taking part in the stoning. Jesus knew that the priest were trying to trap Jesus in asking should he ignore Moses law given by God or not Jesus knowing all. Their minds, said “he without sin cast the first stone” is saying you will your hide your guilty adulterous crime so far as to comit murder to show how much you love God's law. That's why no one dare throw a stone as to incur God's wrath one day. Rather than take the chance, no one man or priest dare cast a stone. Further more. Like a reader correctly states “ Why didn't Jesus cast a stone as he WAS sinless? Jesus came to save not to condem therefore he said to the women “ they are gone they don't condemn you, nor do I. Go your way and sin no more” Jesus was ultimate in wisdom. All praises to father & son

This shouldn't be read and interpreted as "sin as you please," though which is the way most people interpret it. Nor does it apply to moral judgement as he told the woman she had committed sin and not to do it again. We are allowed to morally judge if done from a place of love. And we are allowed to be righteously angry at sinful practices as these are the acts that pull a brother or sister into sin.

While it may seem like Jesus is saying that who has never sinned should cast the first stone, that is not what he is talking about. Many want to make this story be about forgiveness as well, however, that is not what the story is about. The scribes and Pharisees were always trying to trap him in the law. Here are two other examples; is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath? This story is no different. According to the Law of Moses, both the man and woman caught in the act of adultery were to be stoned. However, because the scribes and Pharisees only brought the woman to be stoned, they were wrong in this matter. Thus when Jesus says, "whosever is without sin let him cast the first stone", Jesus is saying that whoever is without sin in this matter, let him cast the fist stone. However, because they did not have the man with them to be stoned, they sinned in this matter because both the man and the woman were to be stoned. Later on when he states that he does not condemn the woman, he means that he does not condemn her in this matter. Because the man which committed adultery with her was not there with her, Jesus had no proof to condemn of her adultery, thus he could not stone her. Also when he says go and sin no more, he means don't commit adultery any more. If you read all of this, let me know what you think (what you agree with, what you don't agree with). God bless you and may God be glorified!

This scene completely misinterpreted what was happening here. Christ in no way meant that no one should be judged and found guilty both to civil and biblical laws or that the laws given to Israel, by God, should be left to history. Clearly the Jewish authorities were trying to bait Him and confront Him with a woman who was not properly tried according to the laws of Israel to begin with. The law on these matters was far more complex than is presented here. This is just another wishy-washy scene designed to present Christ as the ultimate nice guy. He is nothing of the sort.
