Just got mine going today after fitting a new primer plate onto the carby,the engine still needs new crank bearings & I've got some 609 grade Loctite as Victa recommends for the new bearings. I've got access to a hydraulic press so I'll use that to replace the bearings,the engine will be fully repainted but I'm confident that the rings are good as the compression tested at 107 PSI,it's not hard to replace the rings anyway as it can be done without unbolting the engine. I need to repair & repaint the base as it is rusted, it will be a good mower once it's rebuilt.

I know it's 25 to one for victcas but can you run them on 50 to 1?do you know if it will work thanx

Hi You would be able to run them on a 50 to 1 ratio however I would expect that it would increase engine wear and shorten the lifespan of the mower.

I have the new victa 2 stroke mower and it will not start I think it's the spark plug who makes the best plugs for the victas?plz help

any plug that is Equivalent to a champion CJ8 will do the job just fine, there is no significant difference between brands
