Drewfixit don't use that type of compression tester, it won't gives you the right reading. You will be out by at least 20psi lower. That must be a ToolPro. Your comparison is correct. Use a non-detachable compression tester. The reading should be around 80psi with decompression valve blocked. Anyway thanks for your Victa parts order. I through in some extra parts for you to try. Make another video follow-up with different type of compression tester. Cheers, VARIETECH

Hi DrewFixIt, Just watched your short video. Well done! I have the same ToolPro detachable compression tester tool kit and I had found out it's not reading correctly compare to my other two similar (twin) non-detachable compression tester but still a ToolPro brand. I'm not surprised why the non-detachable ToolPro reads better than the other one. ToolPro is not tool manufacturer, they are only rebranding the tools. Maybe other brand detachable compression testers have the same problem. Good to know you confirmed by performing a tester comparison. VARIETECH

Looking at it was clearly the “department store” budget model, however owned it clearly looked after it as I have not even cleaned this one and that compression was great so really looking forward to starting this one and seeing how it runs!
