Add small rubber pads under livewell lids. This will level them out and reduce the sound when they close.

Rubber weather seal will fill the gap on the doors.

I’ve been watching the entire series of your boat restore and wondered if it would work better for you later on in the future for the rear deck to turn it around so that it opens towards the engine? My tracker lid for the back deck open the same way and makes it really tough to do anything if you happen to be on the water and need to get into that back deck and do it safely In rough water conditions. Then the lid won’t hit the rear pole seat. Fantastic job

Thanks for watching, i contemplated turning that lid but decided to leave it factory direction and its not horrible to get into on the water had to do it not too long ago when i forgot to turn on my power to fuse panel

It was pretty easy to make, i just traced the plastic panel onto a sheet of diamond plate, cut it out and bent it on edge of my bench with clamps and a rubber mallet

Looks amazing man 2 weeks left of work and your done. Lol can't get over how awesome your console turned out. Could you possibly show how to wire the bilge pump up properly in case someone buys same switch panel?

The bilge was also wired correctly just the motor was seized up.... took me 3 hours to figured that out haha

@@PUTEMDOWNProductions that's frustrating however at least you found out what it was. Some guys will buy a new one anyway and throw old one away when it still worked. Congrats on the boat it looks awesome. Can't wait to see your storage across along with your rod locker.

Love the video. I have a 1992 Pro 17. I have to upgrade my fish electronics. Do you think I could mount a Helix 7 with a Ram mount where you have your 5 inch Humminbird?

You would want to have wood or aluminum underneath to support it, would be alot of stress on just the fiberglass...

Maybe I missed it in your video but where did you get the aluminium trim plate cover for the dash? Your books looks great bud! I just purchased a 93 TX17 so I have some upgrades to do!

My vinyl delivers today, finishing sanding today. Do you have any recommendations before installing the vinyl to maybe fill in some of the gaps, and make the doors sit level

No good recomendations i filled alot of the gaps with the adhesive as for leveling the doors mine are no worse than factory after looking through photos, could stick aluminum spacers in there to get them perfect but i think mine looks great without any additional work!

Do you have a video about cutting and bending the diamond plate panel? I am trying to do it for mine but don’t know how to co about cutting and bending

I did not video it but i just used the plastic stock plate as a template and cut it out then clamped it down on edge of bench and bent it over the edge with a mallet
