Just ordered 12 yards Nautolex in Sandstone color from Defender to redo an '02 Tracker 17 XT I just bought. After looking at and pulling up carpet, I just did not want to go back with that. Plan on adding some thin padding underneath on main floors to help make comfortable, and sealing all connections, joints and hatch covers to make cleaning with pressure washer a snap. Thanks for showing us the way!

Just purchased a 93 Tracker 17TX. Pretty similar if not the same boat, minor differences. Videos are great and are giving me tons of ideas.

You can always put you either rubber trim or foam to seal the hatches. :) nice video it's come along way looking good. Keep it up..

Not too concerned with water getting into either of those spots and up front should be much tighter fit

Lookn good hydrolic steering upgrade and get some gator guards in a simalar color to fill the gaps if you want. I would expand your front deck to the console and make more storage internally. Can tell you it is way better to have a bigger casting deck

Looks awesome! Tried promoting your video on the tiny boat nation Facebook group. Can’t believe your videos haven’t blown up yet you do a good job of showing the process without any bs. What do you use for rivets? I think I saw an air tool in one of the vids. Worth the upgrade?

Did you look into the 3M spray adhesive? That may have been a little quicker. Maybe a little more expensive though..

Now that you have those small gaps in the storage boxes, do you get more water in them from rain or spray? I just got a Tracker with vinyl on all the horizontal surfaces instead of carpet and it leaks pretty bad into all the compartments.

No but generally dont fish in the rain and boat is stored indoors

Defender marine i think it was $17 a yard by 6ft wide

I have the same boat but a 93’. How many feet of vinyl will I end up needing? I know you ordered 21 to start but if I order it all at once what do you recommend

It comes in 3ft increments from defender marine, i would recommend 30ft

On their website you can only buy up to $25 feet. How would you recommend me going about the order then? Thanks for all your help!

It lets me add 10 yards to cart no problem on defender.com

Sweet that’s what I thought. My understanding is they only carry 25’ sections. So I’ll get a 8 yard roll and a 2 yard roll. I was just making sure you think that would be ok or if I should get like to 5’ rolls. I’ll just order 10!

It says longest in stock is 25 yards that is 75ft you only need 30ft or 10 yards
