Putin's Show Of Air Power in NATO Backyard | Russian Bombers Make UK, Norway Scramble Fighter Jets

NATO forces intercepted and escorted a fleet of Russian jets flying over the Northeast Atlantic amid the Ukraine crisis. UK's RAF said that it scrambled Typhoon jets in order to intercept unidentified aircraft approaching the UK. According to the Russian Defence Ministry, the fleet was part of a training exercise and was carrying out a search for submarines of a mock enemy. Meanwhile, New satellite images show a further expansion of the military presence at multiple locations in Belarus, Crimea and western Russia.

Problem is that Nato is no longer just a Defensive alliance, as it have expanded eastwards several times and have been on the offensive and attacked multiple countries since the break up of the Soviet Union.

There is some dodgy reporting here. particularly with regard to arms control/treaties. The US and Nato are offering to discuss these issues, as Russia have insisted they should. It is after all the US and Nato who pulled out of treaties or failed to honour them. What are these documents you refer to and have you actually seen them?

Having read the background of the whole thing, I personally support Russia. The West totally lost it by not keeping the obligations of the previous decisions after WW3. But I still believe both parties, like before, can have better solutions. We respect both parties. 🙏🙏🙏

The scary thing about this is that this can devolve to where both sides can begin a shooting war if there is any kind of miscalculation in one's intentions. Not only that, there are 30 NATO countries against Russia. If Russia realizes that it cannot win in a conventional shootout, this can turn nuclear in a hurry.
