Hi Everyone and Welcome to Promethean Sewing Machines, where I am unashamedly rebelliously creative when it comes to taking old forgotten sewing machines and bringing them back to life in a beautiful way.
Meet my new project:
Getting Barbie put together. A few new modifications here. I switched out the ugly black motor for a spoked wheel and hand crank. Also, added a few more decals just because I could, and got her ready to sew. Such a fun and light hearted machine now. Her bleak dusty Godzilla self is a distant memory. Thanks for watching!

From Godzilla to Barbie - that's one helluva trick to pull off Marie. The before and after pics speak volumes about what a wonderful job you did with this one. I totally understand exactly why for Bob you felt that nothing less than your best would do but you absolutely delivered. And how! Fabulous. Congratulations on Mission Accomplished!!!

Marie, you did a beautiful job as always. I find my 66 is the easiest to time and use her mostly to FMQ. Bob's granddaughter will love it. Can't wait to see what's next. Thanks for doing these videos.

Marie, she is, without a doubt, a beautiful work of art! She is going to take a place of honor in my collection, and I have all of the confidence in the world that when I'm dead and gone, the grandkids will argue as to who will get possession! Small Dogs think they are Bull Dogs for sure our One-Year-old chihuahua pup spent the summer trying to catch his 1st hawk and an Army helicopter by playing dead !! What he intended to do with said Hawk and aircraft no one can figure out! Beautiful Work she is an awesome Machine

i pulled my 66 apart as my 6-drawer treadle base was eaten be white ants or termites i have broken a bracket in the nose of the machine im glad you made this video as now i pulled her apart I'm not sure if i can put her backtogether without your help. thanks again

WOW another amazing transformation. I REALLY enjoy your channel, well done! Is the Godzilla finish still as crinkle and wrinkle textured or did the primer and paint smooth it out some?

I totally removed the finish. It is gone. I use my electrolysis tank and the crinkle finish blistered up and pretty much peeled off to bare metal.

You do such a nice job bob may be a Purest but when you all dream, you make them look nice. I'm not sure if I really like what you've done to the Godzilla. It's not living up to the Godzilla. Nickname really
