Most definitely... it won't be part of the ATC kit itself, but a retractable tool holder is in the works.

@@PwnCNCI might as well also suggest that forks be used to hold the individual tools rather than cups - it allows for wider tools and there's less travel to put them back on and take them off

@@espressomatic I have the forks your speaking of. Needed something quickly… but these turned out so nice with the boot fitting over them perfectly. I’m researching a few tool rack ideas… so I can make informed recommendations, ultimately allowing the customer to choose.

Yes.... It doesn't require a vacuum, but does require an air-compressor of at least 90psi.

We'll be offering 1.5kw 110v and 2.2kw 220v both water-cooled only (air not option at this small of a size according to manufacturer). Tool holders are ISO20 and initial release the racks will be statically placed on the bed. We are researching retractable tool racks, but something folks can step up to later if it's important to them.

Yes i'm designing a clear upgrade path for existing customers to a full ATC. So stepping into it is most certainly possible.

Yes... for the full ATC experience we can confirm the Masso controller works well. We'll look at each machine on a case-by-case basis to determine what options we have for non-Onefinity Elite machines. Know that we do have a plan with more details being released later for non-Masso machine owners..

I'm hoping to have the details solidified in the next few months.. and product entry on our website before Black Friday. Your second question is very important actually. In my video... i have the tool-holders sitting on top of the wasteboard... and holes drilled through the MDF to allow for the longer bits. in this scenario... the tool holders are just tall enough to allow for the v10 boot to wrap around them... and not destroy the brushes. This tool holder design will likely evolve before official release, but good thing is these are 3d printed, and we'll be sharing design files to expand the pursuit of perfection to be more of a community effort. Note that my Z-20 carriage is mounted in it's highest possible position to allow for the maximum tool-clearance.

Honestly just offering the iso20 spindle without the ATC would be awesome to just quickly change tools and be repeatable if you didn't want to lose table space or pass through capability.

@@reeves29456 I’ve got a great plan for manual tool changing… affectionately called MTC… this will help all folks not capable of wiring the ATC fully into the CNC machine controllers.
