Nicely done, Adrian! BTW you actually can go back if you make a mistake. In my last tutorial I mentioned and showed the technique of tip scraping to correct mistakes. In essence, holding an exact knife so that the blade is almost parallel to the wood but lined up perpendicular to the wood surface you can take the tip and lightly but quickly scrape away the burn area in which the error occurs. You must be careful not to angle the blade because then it could potentially bite into the wood mate. But once you practice a little and if you go lightly and carefully, you can scrape away the char marks. To smooth back the wood aftertip scraping, you can fold a small piece of sandpaper between 260 grit to 320 grit should do the trick. Some pyrography artists, myself included, will sometimes use Emory boards for sanding fingernails. But try not to raid those from your wife. Women don't appreciate guys absconding with their beauty supplies for our own projects. LOL. 😉
