Lyrics:
I don't have, I don't have
I don't have peace, There's no sleep
The night won't give way to dawn
Doomed is the one who is alone
It's as if underwater silence reigns
I'm screaming, but you can't hear my pain
Beyond the mountains the gleam is white
Yet there's no end in sight
'Tis the path for the wounded
And there's no one to guide me now
To the bright Danica* the Morning Star
The world's a pyre burning each flower
Where have they evanesced, those lilac** ramondas?
Lilac ramonda
Lilac ramonda
Lilac ramonda
Lilac ramonda
Ramonda
Lilac ramonda
Lilac ramonda
Lilac ramonda
And there's no one who would guide me
For all the stars are sound asleep
Saying prayers is of no avail
Where have they evanesced, lilac ramondas?
Lilac ramonda
Lilac ramonda
Lilac ramonda
Lilac ramonda
Lilac ramonda
Lilac ramonda
Lilac ramonda
Lilac ramonda
Ramonda
Lilac ramonda
Lilac ramonda
Lilac ramonda
From the ashes rises up
A ѕingle lilac ramondа

The blue scenery presents the sea around the Corfu island of Greece where died Serbs were thrown for eternity, cause there was no enough space on the island to bury all the Serbs who went there after attacked from all sides by the most powerful forces of that time. Such a small nation, so brave you can't imagine it. Only 4 months after, just like the flower Ramonda Serbica, the Serbian Army reborn and liberated all teritories where Serbs used to live in all the Balkans. It aroused like from the ashes, just like the Phoenix bird. Just imagine loosing 33% of the total population during WW1, 60% males, and then again after just 20 years in WW2, Serbs again lost more than 1.000.000 people. While being part of Yugoslavia, and even today, this small nation, globally populated only half of the City of London for example, but very proud and honourable, always on the right side of history, strongly supports justice in all the world. Let's pray for the peace globally.

- The song "Ramonda" by Teya takes its name from the "Ramonda serbica" flower, which is found mainly in Serbia and nearby regions. This flower, discovered by a Serbian scientist in 1884, has a remarkable ability to revive even after completely drying out, earning it the nickname "the phoenix flower." Similarly, Natalie's Ramonda, a close relative of the same genus, is known in Serbia as "Natalijina ramonda" after Queen Natalija Obrenović. It became a symbol of victory in World War I, representing Serbia's resilience after losing nearly a third of its population. - The song explores themes of loneliness and the resilience to bounce back from adversity, mirroring the Ramonda flower's ability to revive with just a drop of water. The official video clip includes a quote from the Gospel of John, emphasising the enduring power of light over darkness. - The island featured in the video represents Corfu, Greece, where Serbian soldiers found refuge during World War I after facing dire circumstances. Greece provided Serbia with essential support, although many perished upon arrival and were laid to rest at sea. This aspect of the song serves as a poignant tribute to ancestors who overcame overwhelming odds.

About WW1 and Serbia I'm just going to leave you with a quote: "You are not going to the Italian, or Russian, or the French front. You are heading into battle against a new enemy, a dangerous, tough, brave and sharp enemy. You go to the Serbian front, and Serbia. And Serbs are a people who above all value their freedom. Take care , lest this miniscule enemy overshadow your glory, and compromise the successes of the glorious German Army. " - Field marshal August von Mackensen to his troops before his invasion of Serbia.

janum is a song written and composed for the series "south wind" about the tragedy and hopelessness of today's life where the basic compassion of man towards man has been lost. -"no one wants my pain, to be touched by it, to surrender to it...this soul has no home". The song experienced great expansion in Serbia after a few months when two consecutive great tragedies happened in Serbia. And then she continued her journey through TT and the lives of those who lost loved ones. Besides singing, Teodora is also a songwriter and composer of many songs for other artists. She has recorded a couple of songs for herself, and is still wandering around and looking for genres. However, songs like Ramonda and Dzanum suit her best for her voice. Although stylistically they sound the same, Ramonda is far from dramatic, it is a song of hope and love: And there would be light in the darkness, and the darkness would not overwhelm it.

I imagine her , lost, alone, after a difficult battle ( during or after the war) searching for her loved ones ,,, lilac ramonda could be symbol for hope... ..a flower that only needs a drop of water to rise and bloom...she needs hope now, to be like a flower that will rise from the ashes... I think this could be an anti-war song ( the flower is considered a symbol of the struggle and victory of Serbia in the First World War, with the largest number of victims in relation to the number of inhabitants) I can hear the silent scream to find strength in her broken being and rise above herself..like lila Ramonda 🌷

In the First World War, Serbia lost about 30% of its population, 60% of its male population. The figure is around 1,200,000 inhabitants who lost their lives. This is perhaps the highest percentage that a country lost in that war. Ramonda is an endemic species and has 3 subspecies. One grows on the Iberian island and in Serbia there is Ramonda Serbica and Natalija's ramonda, which was named after the Serbian queen. Both species are endangered and are protected by law. Natalija's ramonda is also known as the phoenix because it can to dry completely and to revive again when the conditions are favorable. In the First World War, Natalija's ramonda was taken as a symbol of Armistice Day and as a symbol of Serbian suffering in that war, as a new beginning, as a phoenix. The song follows these two stories. It tells where the purple Ramonde disappeared, as a metaphor for the suffering that Serbia suffered. During the performance, purple luminous dots appear on the LED screens that rise and rise. They represent the souls of Serbian soldiers who died defending their country and which go to heaven. At the end of the words, a purple ramonda rises from the ashes. That verse represents the aspiration for a better tomorrow, for the end of war, for the end of suffering, for peace..

Blue tomb. In one part of the song, he says, everything is quiet under the sea. When the Serbian army retreated through Albania to the Greek island of Vido, many soldiers died of disease and hunger. It is estimated that around 5,000 people died then and were thrown into the Ionian Sea for eternal rest. Since then, that place has been called the blue tomb.

Good thing about the song is that even the inspiration comes from the population we lost in ww1, I believe that everyone who feel a bit lost, desperate, in pain, are going through a rough patch, can find themselves in this song. The person is sad, devastated but still searching for the light. And the song ends on the positive note, with resurrected Ramonda. 😊

For those who (perhaps) don't know, the ramonda is our endemic flower species (Ramonda Serbica) and a symbol of the suffering of the Serbs in World War I against Austria-Hungary, i.e. Armistice Day (November 11, 1918) and the final victory. Ramonda is a symbol of Serbia, victory, rebirth and eternity. It is also called the phoenix flower, because it is specific in that it can dry up, and only one drop of water is enough to revive it completely. It was discovered by Josif Pancic in 1874, on Mount Rtanj, near Sokobanja. The song of Teye Dora has strong symbolism, good music with traditional (Byzantine and Serbian) elements, arrangement and text, and in the text I especially like the (Serbian) motifs of the star Danica and Ramonda, as well as the beginning, whose rhythmicity and parallelism are very they remind us of our folk (oral) literature. Not to mention her voice. PS. Armistice Day is a non-working day in Serbia, and it is also celebrated in Great Britain, Belgium, New Zealand and France, while it is "Remembrance Day" in the countries of the British Commonwealth, and "Veterans Day" in the USA.

Thank u for this emotional video. This is very important about beautiful flowers ramonda. The Natalie's Ramonda flower possesses a remarkable ability to revive even when fully dehydrated and demonstrates adaptability to harsh environments. As a result, this plant bears national symbol in Serbia, reflecting the resiliance of the Serbian struggle in World War I and symbolizing the rebirth and revival of the country.

Lilac Radmondas Lilac Ramonda x8 From the ashes rising high... Just one Lilac Ramonda

WW1. The rock at the beginning symbolizes the island of Corfu where the Serbs retreated, where the skeletons of deceased comrades are still in the sea called the blue tomb. The purple dots going up symbolize the departed souls of the soldiers who gave their lives for the gates going to heaven. Those who recovered returned to the war and liberated Serbia, and thus their return was called the attack of the living dead for the Nazis. The song symbolizes, in addition to Serbia, the situation in the world, that one should not lose hope and that in the end, good always rises and defeats evil, both in the person and in the world. Ramonda is like a phoenix flower in each of us, that piece of the soul that tells us through intuition when something is not good or when we are in trouble and that tranquility when we are at peace. The yellow light that spreads on the floor represents the chaos and destruction that spreads in a moment so that no one can react in time and prevent the chaos. Like a wave of dust, the destruction destroys everything in front of it where at that moment she asks where Lila Ramonda has gone. We don't know what we have until we lose. The thunderbolts symbolize our internal struggles that we lead with ourselves in making the right decisions, and shes faltering is actually our inner question of whether we have made the right decision, as if we are treading on the edge of a knife through life.

This gives me the same feeling like Jamala's 1944. An emotional song about the country's history, with great stage effects.

Here is the text in English, but I will give you also some insight, so that you can understand. The part of feeling and sensation will be lost In translation, but it should work "I don't have, I don't have, I don't have I have no peace, no sleep Night don't let the day to come It is difficult for the one who is alone Everything is quiet like under water I scream but it is not heard Behind the mountains, a white glow I don't see the end in sight This is the way for the wounded And there is no one to guide me Towards the light of Danica star (Northern star) Everything burns, everything burns; Every flower, every flower Where did the Lila Ramondas go? And there is no one to guide me Because the stars are all asleep Not even prayers help Where did the Lila Ramondas go? ...... It rises from the ashes One lilac ramonda" During WWI, the complete Serbian army was forced to retreat from Serbia, via Albania to Greece, in what was one of the most horrific withdraw in known history, where many died from hunger, illnes and attacks ftom the Albanian gangs. Later. From the coast of Albania, allied ships were transported them to Greece. Some ships were attacked by Germans and a lot of Serbian solders died under the watter. In the Greek island Corfu, Serbian army recovered, but still thousands of them died from exhaustion and illnes. When there were no more empty land to bury the dead on Corfu, they were buried in the sea, which is known in Greece and Serbia as the Blue tomb When recovered, Serbian army broke Thessaloniki front line, moving very fast thus leaving allied troops far, far behind while destroying Germans and liberating Serbia. In WWI, Serbia lost almost 1/3 of its population, and 60% of male population Ramonda Serbica and Natalia Ramonda are the flower of lilac (purple) color, that can dry out completely when conditions are bad, and it can resurrect again after a long time with just a few drops of a watter. It is also called the Phoenix flower So I hope that I can help you understand how heavy this song is, but still full of hope The terrible situation in which the Serbs were, but even though it seems that the lilac Ramonda have disappeared (for Serbs, that flower is a symbol of faith in liberation), still one rises from the ashes (faith in the beginning of liberation). On Serbia's liberation day, people are wearing the Ramonda symbol on their dresses. In the official music video for this song, at the very beginning there is a message in English: "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it" or in the translation "And the light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not overcome it" which is the text from the Gospel according to John 1:5. It further reinforces the message of the song and indicates the artist's attitude.
