Hi Brian, sorry for taking so long to get around saying thank you. Your videos have made my journey making a PrintNC much more attainable. I started with an MPCNC and wished for something more. When I saw your video saying you were going from an MPCNC to a PrintNC I decide that I wanted to go along with you. I've got my machine moving but I'm still fiddling with it, so I haven't made any chips yet. The time and effort you've put into making these videos has been very much appreciated. Thanks for all that you have done.

Hi from Azerbaijan. We are currently assembling and ordering parts for our PrintNC machine. My father say me that you are Genius, because you have made a very simple and durable CNC machine. Your CNC is a Kalashnikov gun of the CNC world :-). And one small question from my father: Do you plan to do a light version of your PrintNC? Say PrintNC Mini for soft materials and maybe aluminum but with PrintNC principles (ball screws, minimum plastics, no belts and etc).

Thank you! I'm actually not the designer of the machine though. Hoges (Three Design) is the designer of the machine, I've just documented my build. He has done a lot of work lately to make the build more accessible to more people, like designing Z axis plates that are easily made from wood just to get the machine up and running.

Great Q&A. A lot of very interesting stuff there. Now I am even more impatient for an opportunity to get started on my own machine!

Super glad my wife has been really supportive of my current mini-mill build right now as well. I'm about to start on the design of the sheet metal enclosure of it to cheap chips and coolant in! I finished my 2" square tubing stand I made for it.Thank you for your videos! You have helped me realize just how much I need to improve my electrical stuff for safety and other stuff. I have a contactor coming in the mail as we speak. I'm not building a PrintNC right now but a lot of the control and electrical concepts apply to my situation as well. I use linux as my daily driving OS, never windows, so LinuxCNC is less of a shellshock to me, but I would say that it's great documentation is missing noob friendly tutorials, so thanks for your experience. I'll never use Mach. Windows does not have a place (IMO) driving a CNC machine or other real-time computer driven mechanical systems.

Nice! That's great to hear! LinuxCNC should be no problem for you then. There isn't a ton of command line usage when setting up LinuxCNC, it's mainly just the .ini and .hal files you gotta get configured correctly.
