Greeting from across the pond New Jersey usa.. I understand why people might threaten you or say horrible things about you? But that is so wrong because you are only telling the truth and exposing people for who they really are and what they really do if they can't as they say "keep it real". then they should be called out on it exactly like you do to the people who deserve it example:? Stevie t. I very much appreciate the things you do and the videos you upload cuz they are intellectually stimulating and they are educational and they mean something and will stand the test of time. I would be your security guard if we were ever together walking down the street and anybody try to say something to you I would break someone's jaw on your behalf if they tried to lay their hands on you. Keep the faith my younger brother and stand up for what you believe to be right please continue to do so because there is a lot of us out here in Internet land who were actually good people and can see through the lies and Bs a lot of these people are pumping out on their daily content. You are a real one when it comes to integrity, honor, and journalism of the fact where you need to tell it exactly like it is and that is a very admirable trait is in a person.

If you ever do talk to Chappers....please ask why their band asked fans for money/and accepted when they lost some gear a few tours back...... yet Rob had the money to by his infant child a $5,000 PRS within a few weeks. Did the band by chance return any money they received from fans......or are they all just big KZfaq product shilling scum?? Cheers, man. Love your vids..... just don't sellout. Lol

I went to a Paul Gilbert lesson years ago when I was just starting out and I was obsessed with songs like "Technical difficulties" and "Scarified". He talked about the practice side of things of course but he summed it up as "Speed is a by-product of accuracy" and I think that still applies for guitar today.

Here is a quote about the music biz from the late, great journalist Hunter S. Thompson: “The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.” I really enjoy your content, and please keep up the great work, KDH. Six String TV is great fun to watch, he's very funny. Also, we're birthday twins. I hope he keeps up the great work, too!

Great video. There is no license or certification (at least not in the US) to be a journalist, so you are a journalist. Some of your audio audits and coverage of companies like Gibson are high quality journalism.

@Undercoverbus @Undercoverbus In the US, this is completely false. You don't need special credentials to be a journalist, not even a journalism degree. There is no such thing as a press license in the US. You don't need a security clearance for anything unless you're in the white house press corps or something like that. The First Amendment of the US Constitution prohibits any restriction of the press: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press...
@inquisitor4635
@inquisitor4635 Жыл бұрын
@Undercoverbus In the US, the first amendment freedom of press extends to every citizen to have the freedom to gather information or make commentary and disseminate it to the public. The moment you do that, then you are the press and are a journalist. It is a right simply by being born. If you journal, then you are a journalist. Press passes are only needed when there are security concerns or in areas that are considered limited public forums or private areas. They do nothing to give you a journalist status or credibility they merely identify you for the record of attendees. Most press passes are IDs printed out by the company they work for if they are a corporate media journalist. They are self-issued and created. No different than a private, independent citizen journalist printing out their own media ID on their home computer.

Mr. Schneebly single handedly inspired an entire generation to fall in love with rock n roll. I seriously think this movie should have an entire museum dedicated to it because not only did it make kids want to rock, but it taught kids that its perfectly okay to be the way you are and that this culture can make the nerdiest loser into the motherfucking beez kneez in the blink of an eye. That movie sent me down a path that ive been on for almost 20 years now and it made me absolutely positive that this is what i wanted to do for the rest of my life. Also great to see Kaylen! I think he will be one of the big ones like you, Ben Eller and Bernth. Perfect guitar content for all us guitar junkies. Oh, and I would absolutely love an hour long video about your guitars hahaha

The quality of your videos is absolutely brilliant, well researched, and you're a likeable guy. It's so refreshing to click on a video with an interesting topic and not be hit in the face with ''WASSGOINONKZfaqWELCOMEBACKTOTHECHANNELDONTFORGETTOLIKESHAREANDSUB...'' followed by a 10 minute preamble that just plays for time. The fast lick I keep forgetting to practice is from the White Stripes-I Think I Smell A Rat. I once saw a very low res clip of them playing it unusually fast. When you play that lick fast enough, it almost sounds like a completely different song. I remember it sounding really cool. I can't find the clip now, and don't remember what it actually sounded like, so I want to learn to play it insanely fast just to to hear that sound again.

It's crazy how people can get so defensive over criticism, especially if it's constructive criticism. Even if it's negative criticism, this is simply how free speech works. In fact, if someone ever tells me not to criticize them when I'm actually trying to help them, I'll just tell them that I'll lie to their face instead. I wonder what they'd say to that. 😂

It's Come as You Are, the one KDH played. Kurt Cobain didn't want it released as a single because he knew the riff was very "similar" to Killing Joke's Eighties but the record company persuaded him. Because it was before the internets, no one really noticed at the time 🤔 There was also a song by an obscure band called The Damned that Killing Joke allegedly stole the riff from so the rabbit hole goes deep!
