I installed the t harness n made sure they’re secure but when I go to program my car won’t go into accessories mode idk what to do Bc everything is connected

I have a 2014 Q50 I just want to mention that when my remote start came in the mail the box looked exactly like the one in the video however it was a different model. The installation Is exactly the same however to program it is not. I actually had to read the manual that came with it program it to the car and then I had to download software on my computer, create an account and hook the remote start to my computer or laptop as well. This was the Dcryptor step It's fairly easy, but I wasn't expecting that extra step. I am happy to say that I got my remote start working. Finally

Was it the red circular thing? Pro mode? If so did u experience any issues, I followed the steps and when I tried to remote start it the car refused to turn on, after pressing the brake and engine button 3 times it came on with so many engine codes/trans/electrical, check engine was on. I removed the kit and deleted the codes, everything back to normal, lmk if there’s anything diff u did, mine is a 20 q50 and I am tuned.

@@b4tmobl244 the red circular pro mode devise I had to use to hook up to my laptop/ desktop and download an app from the website that's in the Starter-X manual this was the very last page titled Dcryptor if you skip this step your remote starter will not work this is how you actually program the remote starter to your car. You also have to connect the remote starter to the red device while its connected to your computer. Those steps are on the Dcryptor page

@@b4tmobl244 if you still have the manual there’s a barcode on the last page theres a video w instructions. It only took me about 30 min. It wasn’t bad just follow the video exactly how it shows and u should b good

Does your A/C turn on if you had it on before you shut the car off and turn it one with the remote start? I saw something about that. That only heat works or something like that.

I’m not 100% but that I remember if the a/c was left on, if you turn it on with the remote start it will turn on the a/c.

I attempted the install today. Same brand but the "box" part is different. Cannot seem to get the d-cryptor shit to work. The paper instructions are awful. Not sure why yours didn't need that part but mine does?

Use the barcode in the back of the manual there’s a video that shows u how to program it w the dycryptor .It took me ab 30 min total

Bro I used all the prayers and strengths in the world to get it out. Gently pull on the port, then squeeze the tabs and pull again, after a few times it came out, don’t be too aggressive, iv heard of people ripping the whole wire out

im not 100% but I think you can just jump the car recharge it, and if it doesn't work you might just have to redo the activating part, just like when you install it.

2020 has remote start on all models but some models you have to go to dealer and pay and they will set it up for you.

No it’s just 3 consecutive locks. And the same to turn it off.

@@MosesEF yes, there’s an auto off, I’m not sure how long it is but I have tested it and it will turn off automatically if just left on.

Install the kit on the vehicle first then disassemble it connected to the computer and then it will work I kept trying to download the key and it wouldn't allow me

That voice is not from the controller box, that is from my radar detector, the controller box does not make any noise, sorry for the confusion.

When you installed it you might have shorted something out or my be plugged in wrong, I would make sure everything is plugged in good and tight, make sure no fuses are blown.
