A QantasLink Embraer ERJ-190 (operated by Alliance Airlines)
departs from Darwin (YPDN) bound for Alice Springs (YBAS).
Shortly after takeoff, the crew reports to air traffic controllers
that the landing gear won’t retract....

Such amazing radio work by the pilot manning the radios. He's 20-30 miles ahead of the aircraft at all times. Bravo.

Darwin news is more likely to be about weather, crocs, or various incidents in the CBD at night than a QF flight returning to DRW with a minor mechanical issue
