Interesting response from the unit to power loss. I would suggest you let Qidi know about that. The spindle portion of the side spool holder can be attached directly to the socket in the back.

Thanks for the info. When I did the video I didn't noticed that you can put spool holder spindle directly to the socket in the back.

I printed Platform horizontal block and there are also included Build bed screws block, what I didn't print.

Note: currently this printer does not work with cura slicer, I asked their support and they do not have a profile for Cura, although the specifications for this printer do list Cura as an available slicer... Their qidi slicer seems okay, but I really miss the well thought out interface of Cura.

Qidi slicer is based on Prusa slicer. I mostly use Cura, but Qidi slicer is okay.

Just use Orcaslicer. It has a profile for the Q1 and is MUCH better than Cura and even Prusaslicer imo.

Got one, quick delivery from USA warehouse. Touchpad unresponsive, unable to complete setup. Contacted QIDI support (last weekend), said they would ship replacement part. Still waiting for them to ship part from China as evidently they have no USA parts stock, only printers...

Hi, My touchscreen works fine. That problem could be caused by shipping or the touchscreen was faulty from the factory. They should notice it when testing their printers before packing. I hope you can fix it soon and start printing cool things.

@@3DPrintsBuilds Thanks for response and not censoring me as I thought it might help in case many others had similar trouble. QIDI support keeps telling me it will ship "tomorrow" but every promise they make has not happened and they give excuse of Chinese "festival" which I know is a big deal there which happens every year but that festival has been over for weeks now.
