This integrative workout synthesizes techniques from Qigong, Kung Fu, Jiu Jitsu, and Knees Over Toes Guy (Ben Patrick's ATG system) that saved my knees, feet and hips from pain and potential surgery.
By my age, my mother had had both knees replaced, and I had been heading that direction for a few years when I got serious about fixing them. As far as I can tell, I regrew the ligaments and cartilage in my knees, re-stabilized my hips, and gained back the feeling and function in my feet using these techniques. I have one more technique that is so powerful I am going to make a separate video for it, so check back here in a week or so.

What a treat it always is : to come back to a session after a pause. I am so grateful to have found qigong ( and especially you, Nick ). I have Never hurt more after qigong and usually any pain I do have is lessened. As always, thank you , kind sir.

I came here for a twisted knee. Doing this every day has helped my knee. I can feel the healing powers of the body kicking in after practicing. It is also great in the evening to wind down. Thank you Nick!

Nick, I love this movement piece. I am 10 years postmenopause , lots of muscle change. Your flow helps me feel the little and big muscles working together, along with my fascia and it feels great!

This is perfect for me with a slight knee injury and slight loss of balance on the left due to heart operations. Every time I get to the lower tree pose I hear such a satisfying click from my knee. Thank you Nick. You have made such a difference to my life.

Oh Nick, what a serendipitous choice of focus ! At least from my point of view. This is my latest thing to fall off the bus : my knee. I will be doing this one religiously and eagerly awaiting the next installments . I actually believe that I can help my knees and I'm delighted that you are sharing your hard-won knowledge with us. I can't find d the words to say how much I appreciate your practice I'm like a child in the candy store going from one practice to another one . Well, I am noticing small but significant ( to me ) improvements. A mixture of various of your sessions and walking backward up and down the stairs. I'm encouraging that qi to flow . And so it does ! Thank you so much , Nick.

Nick, I was surprised to see the kidney exercise at 16:20. I learned it differently from Jerry Alan Johnson as a part of the Taoist 5 Yin Organ Exercises. He does it with the hand right hand over the left kidney in the back and when the left hand scoops water, the chi comes to the shoulder, down the arm, nourishing the kidney. Love your videos and am enjoying the expansive repertoires!

What surprises a lot is that the same people who say "knee is a hinge joint" then do knee rotation movements.

Nice guidance. I have enjoyed your progression as a teacher, and am coming along. Ortho doctors have been suggesting hip replacement. I'm in my second year of regular qigong and include slapping and tapping intermittently as well as breath work with visualization. You are in my top rotation! Thank you.

Some of the ex. Are very hard. I am a yoga practicioner and since last year my left knee sometimes swells and nothing seems to help….

Nick with the hip exercise sitting on the ground I just can't sit up with my knees bent like that - I just sway outwards - should I just skip it?

Perhaps keep working on the regressions (the easier variations I teach initially). If those bother your hips, I would skip it
