The Shenyang Palace Museum was established on the basis of the 17th-century Shengjing Palace. It is one of the two largest ancient palace art museums in China and has a rich collection of Qing Dynasty court art. These precious materials and exquisite craftsmanship condense the creative ideas and ingenuity of ancient craftsmen and represent the highest level of ancient Chinese arts and crafts.
This exhibition is divided into five parts: "Imperial Power and Order", "Life and Customs", "Furnishings and Offerings", "Art and Belief", and "Government of Culture and Armament". The exhibition will focus on displaying more than 200 pieces (sets) collected by the Shenyang Palace Museum during the Qing Dynasty Palace artworks include ritual utensils, furnishings, utensils for daily use, painting and calligraphy, statues of gold and bronze Buddhas, etc. Also on display side by side are more than 30 pieces (sets) of Qing dynasty artifacts from the National Museum of China.
