As a life long Liverpool fan I remember the season when us and QPR were going for the title, I was at Wolverhampton the night we won and was relieved to have Beaten a fantastic QPR team with some real class players. Stan bowles stood out for me, he was amazing, RIP to a pure entertainer, a pleasure to have seen you play football.

When you were a kid in the 70s Match of the Day was unmissable. Stan Bowles was one of the players who stood out with his skills and goals. Rest easy Stan and thanks for some great memories.

RIP a true football genius. Will be sadly missed in the Blue Bell.
