Great suggestions and I couldn't agree more. I just wish there was more to tournament modes and stuff to keep us casuals happy

Regarding throw teching leniency, you can bind a button to 1+2 unless you are playing on a 4 button arcade cabinet. If you choose not to do bind it, that is on you. Other than that, I agree with most of what you said.

About the throw input leniency, I think the problem should exist where the first input always register after the throw connects. Imo prople should get thrown without tech if they were mashing some other moves while the throw connects. I get caught by that alot and I learn this is also a reason to not press too many buttons.

The evasion stuff🙏🏾 Seriously, the Paul example is one of the best there is...and I'm a Bryan main(yes, take away the high evasion on orbital) df2 into df2 against characters that rely on highs(specially a character like Bryan, where the jab in higher than most) is just too OP for no reason The only way to stop this is by going for db2(which is -2 on hit) or df2(when timed incorrectly means you lose 50% of your HP)... sidestepping is unreliable in this game and you can't create enough space if you're very close

Absolutely agree. The game offers enough options to defend yourself against highs (moves designed for evasion, side step, side walk, duck and punish, armor moves, back dash) adding an extra option makes very little sense from a skill expression stand point. Which is cooler: a paul that just launched you because he pressed df2 while being -6, or a paul that sidestepped your jab and hit you with a 12f punish? I think most people would agree the second option is a lot more intentional and calculated. Not to mention the reward is proportional to the risk you took when you jabbed. It makes no sense for you to lose 50% of your HP bar because you went for a single jab check when you had a +6 advantage. It's just absurd. Losing 10% of your hp because they sidestepped your jab and punished you with a jab string is a lot more fair.

@@anjiruhyure2080 This game is filled with stuff like this...I understand and don't complain when I retaliate against an Eddie and miss because he went for RLX...it is intentional. If Bryan goes for an Orbital after you blocked his df2,1 as a response to a jab... that's just stupid. It's rewarding bad gameplay
