Ms. Paula, some people are just rude , when they just need to keep their mouth shut. Your a beautiful lady just the way you are. Really when they say things like that to others they are just jealous. I sure hope your eye heals with no problem. I've got this recipe book, and air fryer and better bet I'll be making this thanks for all you, Teresa, and Eddie do. I and many others sure appreciate it. The beggar's purse idea was perfect for this recipe. It all held together nicely and looked delicious! Removing the top rind of the cheese wheel but leaving the sides of the rind was the right thing to do. That way, the nut mixture gets into the cheese but the wheel stays intact. Costco in my area has started carrying large jars of Bonne Maman preserves in the "Four Fruits" flavor. The jars are 26 ounces and sell in the $6 range. The regular size Bonne Maman jars in the grocery stores are 13 ounces and sell between $4.50 and $5.00 in my area.

Puff pastry is well worth the $5 that I pay for at my local store. I like to make easy breadsticks out of it. Just roll it out, brush with butter and sprinkle parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning (or your choice of herbs. Cut into strips and bake at 400° for 20 minutes. These will melt in your mouth. I plan to make something sweet with puff pastry later on.

There are just so many toppings you can make for your brie cheese I love pineapple I love blueberry the list just goes on and on and I love the cheese don't give me no processed cheese because I will not eat it

Air Fryers and Pressure Cookers seem to be the new way of food preparation. Even at 80 I use both and when it is triple digits outside they are wonderful. Fig season is just opening here how I love those Mission Figs.

I'm going to give this a try in my regular convection oven as I don't have an air fryer. My son LOVES brie and sometimes we just do a heavy appetizer dinner when he and his wife come over. 💕

Hey Miss Paula. I have suffered with eye problems since 2008. I have occular rosacea, a corneal disease, and blepharitis which affects my vision daily., and severe dry eye. I have so many eye glasses and use different ones for different days. I gave up wearing makeup 12 years ago because everything affects my vision. This is a great recipe. I have been watching you forever. Bless you and I pray that your vision improves.

I love my Paula Deen air fryer. I use to make Brie with fig perseveres and toasted pecans in the oven but now I need to give it a whirl in the air fryer. I put figs up last week.

My facebook friends replied that it was a preference. I personally like to cut the rind off. Paula’s recipe with the pastry and toppings made sense, I think, to keep the rind on the sides and cut it off the top. I was shocked with the response I got from my friends yesterday, my foodie friends on this subject..I thought I was the only one who didn’t know the answer to this...LOL!! Not..! 😉

I have your air fryer with the window and it's little smaller/square -- LOVE IT. I have very limited counter space but it holds a piece of that very important real estate along with your measuring cups/spoons and stand I purchased in Pigeon Forge at your restaurant opening. Definitely going to find your air fryer recipe book and start working my way thru your wonderful creations.

I'm venturing into charcuterie boards while also being down with the Sickness (covid 19 household here) and the man is way more I'll, I've just been shopping for charcuterie goodies to try my hand and we'll, he isn't complaining about the packages coming in because he doesn't know (shhhh!). That is so pretty and delicious looking !! I have never ate brie cheese before . I've always wanted to try it though . I don't have an air fryer yet .
