@@GlobalTrailGuide if you go to where it branches from bottoms up and go a little more to the right, there is another line, just as steep but more sandy and with a sharp turn. It's really sketch. Also, I recommend trying the new rock garden that the bottom of drop zone after it turns into dizzy, and there is a drop on Northwoods that literally lands in a berm. Both should be new from when you where there

@@Ash-bx6kq yeah, I spotted the right line as well while I was there, but opted against it at the time. Whenever I’m on my road trips I never want to get so crazy that a big crash is inevitable 😂 but awesome, good to hear there’s new things, I’ll keep that in mind for the next time I’m back in southern WI. @@GlobalTrailGuide I'll give you second props for doing the "rampage line" lol! You also nailed the skinny on Sandy Bowl which is impressive. Awesome riding. I ride Quarry Ridge all the time and those two are lines I've never seen done in person. If you're up for two more challenging lines, you can ask a local about "smitty drop" (hint: smitty rhymes with what...) and there's also a huge jump straight into a berm on the right side of Sandy Bowl I've also never seen.

@@tonyso5525 not sure exactly where you’re located, but my understanding is that the closest area to the city is Palos. Then out west I’m familiar with Saw Wa Kee in Oswego. I’m most familiar with trails to the north because that’s where I’m from. In Carpentersville there’s Raceway Woods (singletrack) and Andres Bike Park (highly recommend for skill building - jumps, drops, a bit of singletrack). Then in Zion there’s Beulah which also has singletrack as well as some jumps and fun features mixed in throughout the system. Just over the Wisconsin border is Silver Lake Park, arguably one of the best trail systems in the northern IL / Southern WI area. Not too far from SLP is also Alpine Valley, which offers some of the best climb training that you can find for the area. And then an absolute must visit for anyone is Little Switzerland Bike Park in Slinger, WI - the most fun you can have on a bike, ride the chair lift to the top and then cruise back down on your bike and do it all over again!
