I think they changed the way it’s sung from the original version with Bowie. Bowie’s not here anymore, so Roger took over a bit more of the vocals.

Rogers had the highest pitch in the band and even rivaled freddies vocal range.when you listen to the older albums like 39 or bohemian rhapsody for instance it's roger hitting those high notes. Roger: if I go any higher only dogs will hear me
