i hate to be that guy.... i love freddie of course but playing this song on piano while singing isnt difficult at all, the piano track is pretty simple and singing along is easy. What's impressive is the vocals, he was in great vocal shape, hitting notes he'd usually dodge at other shows

@vap3669 Ай бұрын
@@justdoit4789 Because his voice was rarely in amazing shape when live, especially in this time period. 1984-86 was his worst vocal era (excluding parts of the jazz tour as that was more of a really bad one off) the reason he was in such great shape here was because there was a short break from touring right before live aid. Because of that, he was able to hit notes he'd otherwise dodge.

I was very fortunate I grew up in the 70s seen all the great bands. ACDC was the first band I seen that had cordless guitars and cordless mics we couldn't believe what we were seeing. ACDC went all the way around the top of the coliseum in Market Square Arena Indianapolis Indiana we were blown away. But that Freddie Mercury sure had a lot of talent. When I was in high school everybody played the song Another One Bites the Dust. The 70s was a great time for music. I still have all my 8tracks

This has to be the most formidable performance by an artist ever. The way he moved in sync with the music is something to behold…If someone can come up with a better performance, please let me know…U2’s “Bad” was also amazing as was David Bowie (pure class). Bono got into such a zone, that they never played the their last song, which was their biggest hit up to that that time. This performance turned them from a cult band into a global leader…I was 25 at the time. I woke up in the morning and spent the entire day watching a piece of music history. 😎😎❤

Why not start your own comment thread sayin’ 70’s music was the greatest (tho you’d look rather silly to do when this Live Aid video was from the 80’s 😂).
