My mum has a terminal illness and because of this situation, we’ve had to start planning her wishes in anticipation of what she wants when she leaves us. Watching these videos gives me a different resonance of what I will be facing and how to try and help my mum describe her life according to her final inscription. There’s not enough words that will ever be able to do this, but seeing these interments makes me realise that my memories will be enough and that’s ok. Thank you, Lamont. I appreciate the effort you make in showing these places.

Addy, When my big sister first found out she had terminal cancer I was freaking out and she told me there is nothing the doctors can do about it, we all will die I am just going to die soon than others that's all, I thought my sister was tough before than but faced with her own morality she was tough, a fighter until the very end we lost my sister at 34, a mother of 3. The last few weeks of her life I regret not spending more time with her telling how I feel about her as I felt guilty as she was dying leaving us and I was going live to see her children grow up, please spend lots of time with your mum tell her how u feel b/c once they are gone that's it, all I have left is memories now but no one can take them away.

I wonder what you’re response is going to be if you are visiting a cemetery, and you hear or see a apparition. You never know, I don’t think there is anything wrong by asking a lady out, to a cemetery. I love visiting cemeteries, I’ve been doing it since I was a teenager. Death is a curious thing that we all will someday do. Thank you for sharing you’re videos. You do them with respect and kindness.

Hey Lamont. Nothing wrong with taking a date to a mausoleum. My ex girlfriend and I would occasionally visit cemeteries and mausoleums on dates because we appreciated the architecture and landscaping. I’m 36 and I will admit that it is rather unnerving to see the graves of people who were younger than you. You help me to remember just how precious life is because there were many who were not so fortunate to have lived long. Just keep doing what you do best, be safe, and god bless.

Wow--that was unreal--so beautiful-- The smell is the ventilation system not performing properly --in which there is a vent in each cript, at the back, as well as a drain--something is clogged or not working correctly.
@jeffdavis7376
@jeffdavis7376 5 жыл бұрын
Deanna and Serena you are right, my cousin is a funeral director and said the same thing because he said they wrapped the casket in a big bag and secure it before they put it in the crypt because if the body starts decaying and sometimes liquefying the bag is suppose to contain that and the vent fans inside the crypt are prevent the smell but if the bag gets a hole in it it will leak out of the front of the crypt if the drain is clog.

Back around 1967, when I was around 20 years old, I brought a date to a mausoleum that had been beuilt around 1920. It was very creepy, and we were enjoying looking around the creepy place, until we were told to leave, and that it was not a place for "sightseeing". I find these mausoleums to be outrageous in concept and execution. They require continuous maintenance to keep the places from falling apart. A hundred years from now, all those mouldering and rotting bodies will have to be emptied out, and there will be no next of kin to approve disposal of the remains. Sticking pickled bodies in the wall is a future crisis waiting to happen.

Beautiful mausoleum. Have not seen any in Australia but guess they are more in the larger city areas. With 25 Million citizens living in Australia, I guess you can multiply x 7 in United States. Hey Lamont, I’m not certain if you’ve been there, but If you haven’t, you will want to see a mausoleum that allegedly holds the World Record for having the most stained glass, the mausoleum at Resurrection Cemetery outside of Chicago (also home to Chicago’s most well-known ghost referred to as “Resurrection Mary”) is where you want to visit. I don’t know if this mausoleum has an equal regarding the stained glass presentation. This is a place best enjoyed on a sunny day. I cannot recommend this destination enough. You can’t miss, it’s massive. I can provide pics as I’ve been there and toured the entire facility myself on 10/31/2017.

Lamont, you might not realize it but that mausoleum is really haunted. Actually that area where the deer is drinking from the fountain is full of malevolent spirits. I live right down the street from this cemetery, and the stories of haunted happenings keep happening over the years. Many gangsters are buried in that cemetery and across the street at Mt Carmel so it’s a supernatural hotbed.

Lamont, have you visited the Bishop's Mausoleum yet? That's one place I would love to check out from the inside. I find it interesting, though, when one looks at the exterior of some mausoleums they look small until you get inside. I would have no problem visiting old cemeteries, especially those with walk-in mausoleums and chapels. To me, it's like walking into another world...totally surreal! If you've seen the old series, 'COMBAT', they had an episode where the unit spent sometime in a cloistered convent, whose religious order mainstay of meditation was on death in a spirit of being mindful of our short mortal life as a key to wisdom and immortality. I found it very interesting in a lot of ways.

Well. First. Let me ssy. I'm a guy. Tsmi. Is my wife. I've just been logging in on her account. Too lazy I guess I font know. It was the first day of school. I was 16. I had been fishing st this pond down from this cemetery in s the small town i grew up in, in Florida. The fish were biting do good, my buddy and I decided we were gonna skip and go for one more day of fishing. We fished all day. And pack to head home. It was September in Florida. And hot. No drugs or alcohol. We still had about 45 mins before school let out. So we decided to hang out st the cemetery till school let out. We were doing basically what u do. Walking around reading graves. Visiting a couple Friends that had passed away young. Just chilling. We were both next to this one grave. I'll never forget it. Or what happened next. Believe it or not. But as we stood there talking. We both hear a deep moan. It was right next to us. I looked at my friend. I could tell he heard it. I at once accused him of messing around. He said he didn't. And it happened again. Only loader. Now I'm scared. He blamed it on the wind. There was no wind. It's Florida. Summer. It came one more. Only this time it was s full on scream. I turned to face my buddy. And he was gone! Running up the road. I followed after him. We got a ways away from the spot. And stopped. I was looking, waiting for the person that just scared us to come out and claim his joke. But we were alone. We had been alone. We could see both entrances. And it was flat land. No where to hide. At least close enough to where we were at. I was trying to make since of it all. I was Very scared. Almost in tears. And I look down to were we were standing. And I saw it or him or whatever. It just stood and stared. Before I could say anything my buddy saw it too. We started and he stared. As if he was tell g us we better not come back. And then he just disappeared. Gone. And we ran again. I never went in that place but once more and I was so scared. I just knew I was being watched. I was so scared. I did not sleep for days. I never from that day looked at the whole paranormal thing again the same. I know it's real. And what you do? Scares the shit out of me. I don't know how you do it. Especially the one tonight. Noway bro.

That was a beautiful mausoleum Lamont, and you said you could smell death in some of the areas wouldn't that mean the drainage system should be checked, just a thought but anyway be safe and I look forward to the next one!💖

I asked my then boyfriend for us to go to the cemetery on our second date. Turns out he is terrified of anything death but went anyway then told me after we were married how he felt. On another day I went to the Woodlawn cemetery in the Bronx, same cemetery I went to on that second date. As I entered the mausoleum and walked a few feet in I felt heaviness and loud noises. I were alone in there so there wasn't much understanding of where it could of been coming from. It was of a tapping and swooshing type sound although there was no wind in there. There atmosphere was exactly as this mausoleum.

I was thinking as much as you like to visit cemeteries you really need to go to Europe and see some of the tombs in the churches in London and France. They are amazing. One cemetery that you don’t want to miss is Père Lachaise. It just so happened that it was close to our hotel and seeing as how Jim Morrison is buried there, we had to go. You really have to see this place to believe it, it’s really quite incredible! If you haven’t been yet, you definitely need to go. Peace.

This place has the WOW! factor... I also thought it looked like a hotel walking down the corridors. You answered one of my questions about smells 😳 I just can’t believe the sizes of the mausoleums you have their, I’m in Australia I’m wondering if we have many mausoleums here? There is one where my parents are interned but I’m thinking it only holds around 20 ppl Anywho great vlogs Lamont very interesting 👍
